Suffication Pit and its 3 pallets other than shack

why is this a thing, there is only tl walls on the whole middle map so no pallets at all and all the pallets are near the cave. I couldn't do anything on that map we had no resources to do anything worth while, against a blight no less. maps shouldnt be able to spawn like this

As a survivor main I think Suffo Pit is one of the best maps in the game. The main building is absolutely insane and you can guarantee 3 vaults out of a god window every time.
There are actually quite a bit of pallets in the middle and TL walls back to back can be kind of busted.

After the devs finish sweeping through killers perks and add-ons, I'd ask them nicely to sweep up map rotos.
As it stands, five versions of badham and one haddonfield is a ridiculous example of the reasoning and rationale behind map design.
To further this, I'd suggest having matchmaking use only one to two maps per zone and rotating the zone selections on a seasonal/frequency; note that the recently released original chapters do not have maps. In lieu of maps, we have way too many Nea skins instead. I don't see too many Nea players sporting these skins yet this is where the bhvr team seems to be spending it's resources.
Not sure what QA does, I thought they'd be play testing the heck out of everything in order to proactively address issues...it could be that the new QA hire ons are finding these issues and the devs are shrugging it off.
I'm a ruthless resource manager by trade, and from my limited perspective, I'd start firing people without replacement. Don't need a skeleton crew, but the excess fat needs to be trimmed up a fair bit imo

I think that if devs want to remove pallets they should have an alternative like having the map spawn with linked tiles like a TL wall next to a jungle gym or if they don't want linked tiles they should increase the number of pallets, depending on the main building to loop is extremely bad since good killers know not to chase you there and usually leave you to protect generators.

If this is the map I think it is (you can be 3 gen) and has the long building other side of the map to shack that centre part is one of the strongest things against a non ranged killer, you have vaults in so many directions it doesnt matter which way they force you. Also tiles are random, its bot always t&L

Really? Played there last night and there was a 2-3 pallet loop outside of shack with the shack window on that same side. They just bolted for it every opportunity. Not to mention all the T/L walls in the middle (my favorite place as survivor) that half was terrible for me. Add to the fact they caught me doing a Hillbilly ritual nuff said.
Note - I suck royal donkey ass with billy.

I think you are confusing suffocation pit with sheltered woods, which has like 3 pallets not including the shack.

no it was suffocation pit

Are you sure you’re not talking about Shelter Woods?
I think you have the two confused.

no , the area with shack had no pallet, and the only pallets were on the side with the mine shaft, i think it was a really crappy luck spawn, but it should never spawn like that

no it was suffocation pit

They probably are. I have not seen that map in ages so I will not comment on that.

Agreed. Should not spawn like your variation or the one I got.
Balance? Don't talk about Balance. BALANCE?

Are we talking about the same map? Suffo pit is pretty strong for survivor

This.
Suffocation Pit is pretty strong for Survivor. Especially the middle part. Who cares about pallet efficiency when you got back to back window vaults?

no its suffocation pit.

The chainable TL walls on suffocation pit are strong because you have a bunch of window vaults to use and more then enough to wait out entity blockers.

I agree that it sounds like you're thinking of Sheltered Woods which is often a very bare map in terms of resources, and especially pallet wise. There is some variations that can spawn due to RNG where it's ok at best. Otherwise it's a killer-sided map due to how bare it is in resources despite its size, and how it's basically one collective dead zone.
Suffocation Pit is somewhat a killer-sided map but not because of its lack of resources but because of its 3 gen potential. But for the vast majority of killers the middle section is disgusting and if you know how to play it properly/if you get the right RNG it can become the biggest time waster for a killer to chase you there.
I do think I understand the part you're talking about because I have seen on Suffocation Pit where there is like three pallets at most on the side of shack and you have large dead zones otherwise, and they aren't even necessarily good pallets. Sometimes the spawn you get can give you crappy pallet rng on shack side.

As a Killer, I say that Suffocation Pit is one of the most unfair maps in the game. That middle section has 3 or 4 loops very close to each other, which means that a survivor with good rooting can easily turn that section in a infinite loop. Do not underestimate TLs. They may be a weak loop when they are isolated, but If they are close to other loops they become really strong, specially in Suffocation Pit.

The game of suffocation pit where the entire middle section of the map was only TL's. It was so stupid lmao
