Killer is super easy
I've been playing survivor for a long time, and recently I've been playing killer a lot more often. I used to think some things were sorta annoying, like spirit and some underpowered killers that were boring to go against. But now I am kind of bummed to see how easy killer is. Whenever I play blight, my chases last only a few seconds. When I play trapper, all I have to do is trap shack and some dingus will run into it. All you have to do to win is put on 3 slowdown perks and barbeque or something and you'll win nearly every game as long as your not stupid. I just used to think killer looked complicated but in reality it's so easy. On another note, I don't know why anyone would face camp if the game were this easy. Never understood why people do that.

Cool. Now do it in red ranks.
56 -
I have usually been around rank 5-4 for a while now.
3 -
arrives in the red ranks and we talk about it.
6 -
This isn't even good bait. Try again.
26 -
Not bait
2 -
As a killer main killer is not easy
8 -
So you’re saying that you never play killer but recently started? That would mean you’re in yellow or brown ranks so of course killer will be easy.
16 -
we could organize a private match! you intrigued me!
5 -
By recently I mean a few months and last rank reset I was rank 4
1 -
Sure, I don't mind

I wish it was T.T

Killer is indeed easy yes, survivor is easy as well. There are not many things in this game that take too long to pick up.
That being said, the game is filled with things that are hard to master. And mastering something pays off and is what makes this game just bring you back for more
5 -
I agree. It took me a while to learn jukes as a survivor and nurse is a pain in the behind to play still.
0 -
Nah just regular ol' me
0 -
It's good that you're taking to the new role well. Hopefully it becomes a healthy challenge for you over time.
1 -
The truth no one wants to hear is that DBD overall is easy. Even things like Nurse don't even compare to, let's say, Ludwig on Bloodborne.
3 -
Killer is easy because of matchmaking.
2 -
same thing can be said about survivor
0 -
I would be on bord (if everyone is EU) :)
0 -
Yeah I don't think the matchmaking does it any good.
0 -
Now play against a competitive dbd survivor team
0 -
Yeah, right. I'm currently rank 8 and I have yet to have someone spontaneously run into my traps or have literally no clue how to play against Blight.
0 -
Come back to us when you play against your first bully squad.
1 -
You gave your bait thread away when you said you catch survivors in traps with trapper.
Either this is bait or the survivors around you are full on potatoes like some streamers have.

THIS
1 -
Ludwig is easy lmao I even did a bl4 run a while ago, nurse is harder to master than ludwig.
1 -
Who's harder to master, Orphan on BL4 or Nurse? Honestly not sure myself.
1 -
Lol you say this as if it happens so often. Killer is easy unless you play against a competitive team? Ok so like .05% of the time its hard?
2 -
Well, we agree to disagree lol.
0 -
Fair enough lol yeah
0 -
That is actually a hard question, without cheesing I think Kos is harder, but if you count cheesing then nurse is harder imo.
0 -
imagine thinking red rank survivors are any better
this must be a meme
1 -
Ignore all the red rank killer mains who got butthurt about your post/thread and tried to condescend on to you.
'Talk when you're in red ranks kid'
OR, MAYBE
Its just easy.

The game is really simple and kind of lacks depth. It doesn't surprise me too much that people would equate that to being easy. Especially if you already grinded one side out. That being said, I still vaguely have the "so what, exactly" question. Like... If that is a problem to the OP, he doesn't need to play Killer. Or DBD. I do not really see the point.

There's actually a big difference between rank 5 and rank 1.
0 -
This game is not that hard, big surprise.
Killer can be easy too of course. And the only thing that's easier than killer is survivor
4 -
You can win blindfolded at rank 18

I've only recently got back in to DBD and so am only at 15 for killer and 26 for survivor, so accept that what I say reflects the skills of a lower level player (although thanks to terrible matchmaking I do play rank 5s quite often)
But I personally find it easier to earn points as survivor. Although I do have the mentality that killers should be killing 2 or 3 survivors a game most of the time...this is a horror game after all and imo it should feel like you have pulled off an upset when if more than one of you escape. Playing killer for me is much more stressful, especially as I cannot find lightborn in any bloodwebs despite the fact I unlocked via levelling up Billy days ago, and level 5 survivors love those flashlights.
I have been a survivor and played against a rank 5 killer but not noticed until the post game lobby, on the flip side I can tell level 5 survivors as soon as I come across them. And survivors using headsets is just completely broken. Completely invalidates so many perks for either side.
Granted my opinions might change when I myself get to be ranked higher. But as it currently stands I already feel like I escape too often as a survivor.

This forum is killer sided. IDK if you've noticed but they mostly **** on survivors and excuse their own role because that is what they play.
Multiple streamers have pointed this out, forum users have pointed this out, regular every day players have pointed this out, new users have pointed this out.
There's more survivor players in-game but as far as this forum goes, the criticism/bias only goes so far.
As for your question, I can somewhat agree. But saying 1 side is easy (which it is, both sides are), shouldn't be immediate grounds for 'stop playing then'. All these killer mains acting like their job is so hard, takes skill, etc. Sure it takes some knowledge and playing around a team's play style is different from match to match, but so is a survivor's. Just tired of hearing all these killer mains condescend and talk s* cause they think they have the hardest role in the game.

I said this before, but a lot of people tend to feel sorry for themselves when they play. I used to be guilty of it too. But both roles have their own objectives and playstyles. They both have great advantages and disadvantages.
Though to be honest, the way the game is set up doesn't help either. I'm sure a lot of the butthurt comes from how easy it is to feel dogpiled or targeted as killer and survivor respectively. People bring that butthurt here with the "ugh typical killer/survivor" rhetoric as if it's really all that serious lol
But anyway, I agree. If the game is working out for them, that's great. No one needs to feel insecure just because someone said the game is easy.

Killer is easy in most matches and you'll get a 3-4k. The majority of this forum is killer biased so you'll constantly see people whine that it's difficult. You rarely will run into an SWF swat team at red ranks if you choose not to play at peak hours.
Meanwhile, the solo queue experience is literally one of the worst parts of this game at all hours. Your teammates will constantly attempt to sandbag the ######### out of you and leave you to die on your first hook. With the lack of a DC penalty, you'll have teammates exit the game for any reason in nearly every second match you play.

Blatant lie.
Most of the changes effected killers more than survivors, hell even the newer maps are a bit survivor.
"Killer sided" the only thing we somehow managed to keep and I don't even want it was Spirit's strength.
2 -
As long as you don’t get Red Forest, Haddonfield, Ormond, or indoor maps.. yeah, pretty much guaranteed at least a 3k as killer.

'All you have to do to win is put on 3 slowdown perks'
Weird idea - try without. I use max 1 slowdown (mostly none). I know, ruin/pop is like the holy grail at the moment. So many are running it. But if you complain about Killer being too easy, really just put them off. If you are good as a killer, you won't need them. Also strong killers like e.g. Nurse/Blight/Spirit are just overkilling it with slowdowns.

Yeah I didn't intend to rustle so many peoples' jimmies. This game is kind of starting to lose its charm for me so I may move on to something more fun to me. I don't like things to be easy because the match isn't any fun.

It's always easy when you start cause it's against baby Survivors. Play against experience and it's not as easy as you claim.
I can't remember the last time Survivors were making blatant mistakes.
1 -
Not trying to be toxic, but this account was made less than 24 hours ago. You have to understand the skepticism of your post- especially since everyone who has really put time into playing killer knows it’s not “easy.”
1 -
Yeah I know, pretty understandable.
1 -
Most of the time it is easy anymore because people don't know what they're doing. It isn't that you are doing great it's that survivors have gone and turned their brain off. More often than not I see a killer quite reasonably taking advantage of a gifted easy hit or down that I see big brain plays.
If you play against 3 competent survivors and a derp you'll likely down the derp first. Then the number of them that don't follow you for a heal is frustrating. The hook trading with time left on the meter at 4-5 gens makes no sense. Yeah you got me down and went down in the process and quicker than I can complain im hit again.
smooth brain survivors make the killers life easy

I really wouldn't worry too much about what they have to say. Hypothetically speaking, even if you were here to stir the pot, people were already chomping at the bit to take the bait, you know what I mean? lol That sort of anger isn't really worth acknowledging.
That sucks to hear, but I know exactly what you mean. I love horror and it's a fun game to play casually with friends, so I'm here for the long haul. But for any sort of challenge, I can see how the game can be pretty easily won if you're determined enough.
