Lerys is insane
This map is such a strong survivor map… the windows and pallets spawns lately have been insane it seems like every possible window and pallet that can spawn does and I’ve noticed this playing both sides. Anyone else have the same experience?

It got buffed a while back. They nerfed some of the more ridiculous windows, but seriously increased the pallet safety and count. And left some of the other ridiculous windows.
People may want to argue that the insane windows made it so strong, but... The map's easier now. A lot easier. Just find a pallet, play it a little, and drop it. Killer can't cut you off, because indoor map, so just make sure you take the most direct paths. Killer can't tell where people are, because indoor map, so just do gens. Which are actually rather easy to find on Lery's.

I remember being insanely frustrated with Lery's when I first started playing the game. I hated it so much. Now I think it's fun because it's almost like an obstacle course, way moreso than some of the other maps in the game. But I still can't find totems for ######### in there.

Um...Isn't lery's the place where the doctor performed Shock experiments? If it is then am I the only one that finds a slight humor in the title of this topic?

Closed maps are better for almost any killer since most survivors struggle to find a generator, it' like having a free corrupt intervention...so I guess having more pallets is to compensate for the lost time...

As a survivor why I love this map. The ability to creat strong loops on the go.

I was thinking this and came in here to make a post alluding to it. We all go a little crazy on that map.

The map is also a full counter to nurse. It forces short blinks all the time because of all the crap they spread around the hallways and you are usually out of sight with many directions that you can go.

Yeah. The gameplay on indoor maps is zzzzzzzzz. On Lery's, you spend 20 seconds holding W after a survivor that you can't cut off because it's an indoor map, and then they stumble upon an absurd window or a completely safe pallet. Then you down them and patrol to a gen in progress, but can't find the survivor anywhere because Lery's is also a super exciting immersion simulator with an absurd amount of ambient noise that drowns out survivor breathing.

Most of the maps that got their rework had the safety buffed by a massive margin. It's honestly annoying because most maps were, other than a few bs windows, pretty well balanced before they started the realm reborn or what the hell ever they called it.

I love all maps that reward me for absolutely winging it. Lery's, Dead Dawg, RCPD, Swamp...

Gens aren't that hard to find on any map. Even thinking about proper spacing of the gens is all it takes. If that's not enough, there's a perk called Visionary, as well as maps.

I have seen a lot of people call it a killer map, presumably because it is indoor. But, yeah, this is the only map where I feel like I am not a rank 20 survivor. As killer, it is also the only map that I have ever given up on and also the only one where I farmed despite no DC. I have a very strong opinion that it is absolutely survivor sided. No doubts in my mind. It is actually the reason I realized that other people's opinions on maps need to be taken with a grain of salt and a shot of vodka.

They are for the average player, I always see most players running around aimlessly looking for a gen, it frustrates me but most players just don't know what they are doing...
