Booo-urns

Peace out y'all, I'm done.  I don't think the community is as toxic as it seems, but after the games I've had tonight, I just don't find it fun anymore.

I don't blame BHV, this is a really hard game to balance, and to try to encourage play styles that are fun for both sides.  But I'm tired of getting camped, tired of killers slugging he to prevent hatch escapes and wasting time. (And yes, I understand it's a legit strategy, and I hate how effective it is when not on swf.  A game shouldn't be only fun for one side) .

Anyway, I've made fun of these "I'm done” posts in the past, but I guess I get it.  I really liked this game for months, and people get sentimental for that feeling when it was still new and exciting, but My game time is too limited to risk feeling like this after playing. For an hour.

Thanks for the good games BHV. I hope you figure it out.

I can understand getting burnt out on a game, especially one like this.

Sometimes you just need a break for a few weeks or months, but even if that isn’t the case with you I’d like to help.

What type of games do you like? And what platform are you on?

    I might have some recommendations.

5 hour?  That is not what Cremaster means ;)

@thekiller490490 My backlog has grown too much.  I'm probably a quarter of the way through God Of War, Moss, and just got Beat Saber.  All excellent games I need to beat.  I'd be tempted to jump back into Overwatch too if I feel like I need a competitive game.  (Although I have Destiny 2 and COD Blackops 3 as well)

@ModernFable I might be back.  I'll probably check the forums here and there to see if they've somehow found a solution to the bad playstyles.  What I realized is, the game was starting to feel a little addictive too.  LIke, I play, but I didn't feel _good_ when I played.  Thats when its time to quit.

I agree. As solo survivor they just camp, then drag out the end game by slugging.

As killer its just one toxic swf after another.

Swf survivor groups are the only fun thing left. Well killer can be ok but there are some ######### heads who ruin it for the rest.

And whats with survivors who do escape wanting me to traverse across the entire map just to wave goodbye to them? They dont even tbag, they just need me to see them leave for some strange reason.

I believe the idea there is, at least when there are other survivors left, its non-SWF survivors trying to figure out if its safe to leave, or if they'll need to run back in to try to save someone. If the killer shows up, then that means they AREN'T chasing the other survivors, so its likely safe to leave.

But if other survivors have exited, then it makes no sense. You know the other exit gate is open, and they're likely clear.

Yeah i dont mind when others are left.

But in these cases there isnt. They just need me to see them leave.

They arent even teabagging or being toxic post game....its just of the utmost importance that I see them leave.

    Strange.

Or you could all say bye in a positive manner. @Zavri @BeanieEnthusiast

I hope someday this game will bring the fun you were always expecting to had. I think the sheer amount of negativity on this forum speaks for itself when it comes to this game, and it may not be for everyone.

Cheers man, and we appreciate your run with DbD. Have a good one mate.

If you want any recommendations for some amazing RPGs, or MOBAs, since it's what I play other than DBD, just mention me in a comment here and I'll dump you a list and see what you find.

Why would I be positive on a post where it’s obviously someone just seeking attention? Like who cares if you’re ‘leaving the game’. One less whinger thank god.
