Legacy Main Menus
Hey all, new here to the forums but have been enjoying DbD a lot in the past couple months.
I was wondering if BHVR had ever entertained the notion of allowing players to buy old main menus and use them as a sort of main menu customization thing? I main Pyramid Head so I'd really love to have the Silent Hill main menu as my default. I know mods can let you go back to certain old menus but I haven't seen a mod that gives you the old Silent Hill main menu. I think it would be cool. Happy to meet everyone here on the forums!

It’s been talked about a couple of times and everyone is supportive of it. Devs have never said anything about it though. Maybe they are secretly working on. I assume they’d have to make sure it’s optimized because some menu themes on old consoles made the menus laggy.

Your suggestion has been talked about before, and literally everyone is supportive of it. Perhaps eventually the devs will make it an actual feature.
And let me tell you, I already know which menu theme I want as my default:

It sure does! By far the best menu ever: All Hallows` Eve event, 2017.
And I agree, my friend, the old fog needs to return to the game. Everything was better with it.

Yeah I like the new graphics a lot but the lack of fog makes the atmosphere a lot worse. It shouldn’t be tied to an add on anyway

I sometimes wish there was more fog to make my Pyramid Head games more immersive hahaha

The first Christmas Winter Solstice was my favorite. Just the sound of the haunted bells gave me chills.

The bird in the Chains of Hate menu was my favorite. He was just vibing, eating a corpse while your killer was queueing.

Agreed. We need more Fog. THICC Fog.
The game cannot lack something so important lore-wise and gameplay-wise.

Winter lobbies are excellent choices, if I do say so myself.
I first started playing DBD during the Winter Solstice event in 2018, and I would love to see that lobby again:

I think my favorite was Blight's, just because a dear friend of mine spent night and day talking about the Blight when he had his first teaser in 2018.
