Thought experiment.
What would the game be like if perks like DS, Unbreakable, Borrowed time didn't exist. How would the game be for survivors if these perks didn't exist?

There was actually a time when not a single one of those 3 perks you've mentioned existed. What would happen would be similar to what happened back then: there still is a "meta", it merely looks different.

without borrowed time in the game you'd probably get farmed right Infront of the killer more

What I Imagine would happen: Survivors leave unhooks until the last minute, pressuring gens even harder.
What would actually happen: Survivors would bum rush the hook and give the killer a free ticket to the tunnel express.

Killers would proxy hooks, preferably in deadzones or 3 gens.
The first survivor to go down would get tunneled out with 3k points.
The other survivors would play gens before friends.
Basically, Deathgarden after the mercy mechanic.

Instances of tunnelling and slugging would be x% higher.

BT and the threat of DS are necessary for game health. There wouldn't be any reason for a killer to leave a 3 gen with a hook inside of it. Games would essentially be unwinnable against competent killers with good hook placement.

To know the answer look at deathgarden playercount

Yeahhh, this is pretty accurate. Want to know what happens in a team based game when the killer can ignore your teamates and your teamates can barely help you? You get deathgarden, and we all know what happened to that game. RIP BHVR's wasted terminator license.
