why did they nerf hill billy base kit???
some of his addons were broken but that was it his base kit was fine

I think they wanted to be creative toward the character.
The scream, chainsaw overheat, they just wanted to add design and personality elements... I guess ?

It was because the devs didn’t like him. Look at what happens to him compared to huntress who were both A/S tier killer who were outdated

After footage of The Korean gameplay and Almo against an impossible skill check Doc and what came after. It’s fair to say some devs got reverse chainsawed while hiding in a corner..

Because the devs dont play thier own game pass rank 15. They've done some questionable things in the past but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. After patch 1.9.2, where they thought that was a qol change, now i know they dont know what they're doing.

I can debate all day if I have to this is a list of all the changes Almo made to killers Billy is not on the list. He never worked on Billy. I get it’s a team effort and there’s more than 1 guy who works on killer changes but to say Almo nerfed Billy cause he sucks when he never even worked on Billy in the first place is bullshit

What nerf to legion are you talking about if I need to remind you Legion was the most unfun killer of all time who needed a nerf and clowns update while not as good as Docs and Bubbas was at least good you make it out like he ######### everything

You said the devs got backrevved and that’s why he got nerfed and everyone always points fingers at Almo because he always says controversial stuff. But he never worked on Billy’s nerf and even though he nerfed Lullaby everyone ignores that survivors don’t get a notification until the first hook and the fact that Gens and healing were the only basic actions that had skillchecks

Because when it comes to balance, BVHR's has a very stupid and flawed logic which influences their decisions way more than it should.
Remember, we are talking about a company which nerfed Freddy merely a week after his initial release for no reason at all, a company which almost nerfed Demogorgon's add-ons for no reason at all, a company which nerfed the Twins for no reason at all, a company which thought that Patch 1.9.2 was a good idea...

I think he was fine, beside the addons. But i think he is still good, you can still curve and he is a strong killer in the right hands.
I think they nerfed him because new players (or those who are not very good at looping) could not handle his power. I am not sure if this is sooo much better now, but at least it was their intention.
On the high level, he was definitly not op, unless he ran insta saw addons or crackbilly.
