Vaccine or Serum? 🤔
I know that this isn’t a problem, but i think it’s very important this subject in our actual times, being brought the right way.
one thing that really got me on the nemesus power, was the chests with the vaccine, and today, having a bio class studying about it, i realized that vaccine is to PREVENT the disease, and how in the game you are already infected abou the T-Virus, the real thing that you would have take was a serum, (the serum serves when you are already infected to treat the disease) and seeing this, the same time I remembered about Resident Evil 7, (maybe spoilers ahead) when Ethan need to do a SERUM, because he is already infected, and a vaccine would not work.
i hope that this be taken into consideration, nowadays, with the whole COVID-19 thing, we need to know more about theses things, and this confusion can make the difference in the point of view of the vaccines for someone.
have a good day :)

Yeah using vaccine makes 0 sense for Nemesis' power.

...while I agree with your ultimate point that calling it a vaccine doesn't make sense, if someone sees a video game call something a vaccine and decides "Well I'm not sick with anything IRL, why would I get any vaccine since according to DBD, only people currently infected need it", that person was beyond hope to begin with.

While there's a load more in this game that isn't true to RL, and this is a pretty small nitpick... It's actually such a small change that I don't see any reason why they couldn't change it.

It's just a plot element from RE. Jill uses and obtains the vaccine in RE3, so it's what's used for Nemesis' gameplay.

File this under "The Entity never quite gets things right".
