Depipster. Made it more annoying to play as and more annoying to play against. I didn't think it could be done, but you excided all expectations.
You buffed him in situation where he didn't need buffs, and nerfed him where he needed them. Masterful execution!
Annoyance of having to reload more often is just a cherry on top. Whoever worked on this "rework" should get a honorary degree in designing annoying and boring gameplay. Legends will be written about it. Statues will be built.

-Needs to break off from chases often to reload his now much more limited knives
-Main event can now be used more effectively as it can be held for 30 seconds
-Takes 30/44 knives to get main event

The limits on the oppressive factor seems to overcorrect changes in a good direction.
I thought the community was pretty uniform on the issues we would have liked to see addressed.

Yes... Yes, community was pretty uniform... But you can always count on BHVR to ignore community! Why? Because they can! And they will continue ignoring as long as people continue giving them money for the shoddy work they do.
Don't like it? Well you have 2 options:
- Read BHVR EULA: it says right there that you can go (perform solitary act of pleasuring*) yourself if you don't like something.
- Read forum rules: it says that you can can bend over and take (pleasuring* act) administered by BHVR personnel.

Trickster has ever since been the result of the core mechanics not getting overhauled. Instead chapter after chapter is shoehorned out, bringing new killers limited and hindered by the very mechanics of the game.

Isn't it the opposite? I mean, I hate the Realm Beyond and most recent changes, so it is obvious that this update would upset me.
My reaction is probably not the best metric to judge if an update was good or not.

It was more of a laugh mate. But everyone's tense with this one. There's no need to try and get a gauge on it; every aspect of the update seems to enrage the community collectively. This midchapter is a trainwreck.

Not excited about the trickster buff/nerf but my friend I have some great news my original Xbox One just went through a entire game without freezes, lags, or frame drops. Was even using nemesis there were three survivors with dead hard coming from a player who has not been able the last four to five weeks to play properly/effective i am happy overall.

That's exactly why I don't pay for free characters. I use my shards, level for the perks, then don't touch the character until the inevitable rework. I have stopped getting hyped for new killers licensed or not because I have to wait 3 months before I know where they will sit for the next year or if I'm lucky; hotfix.
Fortunately perks are optional for Survivors, so gameplay stays consistent outside of performance issues. If a killer suffers from design I can at least enjoy those benefits from the other side.

ESO morrowind overhaul era patches this reminds me of. "You will consider this change a buff if (such and such) and you will consider this change a nerf if (yada yada)." This game is more fun reading about it every patch than actually playing it lol.
