Game install size?

What's up with it? I remember like a year or two ago this game was like 20gb and since then they've added a few maps, characters and costumes. The graphical reworks also came in but those replace the old maps right? So why is this game now 55gb? I'd like to have more than four games on my C: since it's my faster drive but this game is growing every update despite the updates just replacing content, today we got a 4gb update for bug fixes I just don't get it.

That's still considered small. COD: Cold War is over 300gb :)

Maybe it's just a sign of the times but there was a point were TF2 was the largest game I had installed at like 20gb but I could understand that game being huge. Haven't played new COD but I assume it has a campaign and zombies and multiplayer suite so it at least has a heap of content and probably ultra high res textures. DBD's content to size ratio just seems bloated but I guess there's nothing I can do about it besides uninstall some other game
