Thoughts on Trickster so far from survivor pov.
They are all camping... You made him a camping god and butchered any map pressure he had enforcing the camping even more.
Can we please get some fresh talent in the balance crew to refresh their ideas and offer some new insight?

Honestly, I'd be happy with a revert and blades no longer decaying in chase at this point.

I mean there is add-on called ripper brace that increases decay meter..... my problem is with these 44 knives.....even using both add-on does not get you back to old 60. Even Dowsey agrees that this ammo change is really bad and he was running out of knives in mid chase.
I do not think I have ever been hurt by decay meter but this ammo problem so problematic. please revert base-kit ammo changes : (

The base 44 is okay but they shouldn't of nerfed the extra blade addons as well

hes def more annoying to go against then pre-buff, alot of the times u feel like u cant do anything. i hate him.

Pre-"buff" a good Trickster doesn't need to camp to get a win. But the new changes to him do make newer Trickster players feel like they need to resort to camping because of less knives to work with and less time to get the health state down before the laceration decay. The new changes are definitely not inviting to those who want to start learning to play Trickster as they're even an inconvenience for veteran Trickster players.

first of all there is so many reasons to camp
being a 110% killer with 0 mobility, little to no snowball, no gen pressure and on a large map is one of them. Why not camp?

I’ve only seen one. He was AFK in the basement the whole round.

Well for me he's officially the most annoying killer in the game to go against

I have had 4. One attempted to slug and hovered around the hook near the end while the other 3 just straight up stayed near the first hook they got.

I feel like something needs to be fixed. I played 4 games against Trickster today and I can tell he is a bit too strong at the moment. 3 of my 4 games he re-downed the hooked player and the one who unhooked him a good 3 times during the match.
I feel like his recoil needs to be stronger if they lower the amount of blades he needs to hit to injure/down a survivor. Either that or lower the amount of knives he carries from 44 to 30. he shouldn't be able to saw through a full health survivor and have enough to re-down the hooked survivor especially with most Hooks being way out of the way of actual cover in most maps.

If you think a killer is strong because they can camp then god help this game if you are the common player.

I never said he was strong because he can camp.

What I am pointing out is that they managed to cut through three health states with little to almost no time at all.

What rank are you where you encounter Deathslinger? All I play against are Wraith, Spirit, and Trapper. I haven't seen a Pig in months.

I play in red and purple and I have seen Ghostface/Wraith/Trapper/Huntress I haven't seen the Twins/Freddy/Plague at all I have encountered 1 Oni but that almost two weeks ago. I played Bunny Feng and he refused to hit me it was actually fun.

Can’t comment since I played 10 games yesterday and never saw a single one

I’ll just keep burning RPD badges until the Trickster phase blows over.

Played one match against a Trickster after patch, i didnt notice too much difference compared with pre-patch. Personally I always enjoy a match with good trickster that does not facecamp.
I do think Trickster could use a bit of a speed buff tho since unlike huntress the blade can be tough to land a hit on. I could usually dodge the blades pretty well provided i dont get caught out in the open.

I have only played against 3 Tricksters since the Patch - 2 DCed after one (!!) Gen was done and the last one gave up after two Gens were done. Last one on the RE-Map, but he had the Ricochet-Knives...

I played 3 matches against Trickster and he feels really oppressive to play against.
I played against a 5-knifes-Trickster on Shelter Woods and it was literally impossible to escape, due to lack of structures and high walls to hide. I think he is heavily map dependent as i did better on a map like Yamaoka.
He still has no map control which is honestly a good trade for his 1v1 is pretty strong now. I would say at the same level than Wraith.
He still has a really strong "camping" ability. and i guess making him unable to damage a survivor with knifes after successfully removing them a health state with them would be too much of a nerf. So i don't know, like upgraded Wraith i need to face him more and practice.
