[Object of Obsession + Lockers]
I made a post similar to this one called: "Questions about locker buff...". This is a sort of continuation of that one but focusing on one major problem. (Besides Legion.)
- Lockers and Object of Obsession: For those of you who don't know, lockers now don't revel a survivor's aura to the killer. However, the survivor in the locker can still see the killer's. And there's one perk that really helps out with this. Object of Obsession now let's you see the killer while your in a locker without him/her from seeing you. I've already tested this and it's actually a thing. The problem with this is SWF can now tell each other where the killer is without him/her knowing. For example, imagine playing a game against Myers. He's trying to find people but the survivors have a UAV to know where he is at all times. Survivors should be able to see other auras while in a locker. It doesn't make sense if the killer can't see your aura in a locker but survivors can. This is another thing that DBD did wrong before releasing this patch.

You think the devs give a #########? They've allowed SWF to abuse OoO for 2 years now.5

If a survivor wants to hide in a locker and OoO me then thanks, one less person working on gens.

That would be the least of my worries. If someone wants to sit in a locker all game to tell their friends roughly where I am, be my guest, that's one less person doing generators.
Tracking the killer is already fairly easy. The terror radius even helps you track them. The actual benefit of the perk is getting the killer's attention and wasting their time by moving when they come looking for you.2 -
If that's the case then should the devs adjust the no aura to not include ooo so it can't just be abused by swf and turn it back into a risk vs reward perkPeanits said:That would be the least of my worries. And to clarify what hapens when you.get multiple players in see all running it so two work on gens and one is a distraction once the crows start while the other that's been staying close then hides in a locker to track the killer0

Guys simple solution to this and to get very easy games run class photo Freddy and the purple dress addon that makes skill checks ridicusly hard to get and don't hit anyone boom everyone hides in lockers or has to stalk you and be hooked to get out of it so you then just wait for the suicide rushes and the your a camper no skill noob salt as your effectively making them pay by hiding0

I literally just played 5 games with my team running this perk. Out of the 5 games 2 of them were Legion so I won't count those. These were also all Rank 1 to 4 killers. At the beginning we had one person go into a locker and tell us where he was. We told him to stay in the locker and tell us where he/she goes. Once we knew where he was we'd do gens. Then go into a locker to see where he/she was before finishing a gen.
One game it was Myers and we literally were able to avoid being stalked the ENTIRE game. Another was against Hillbilly. That game we did the same thing telling each other where he was chainsawing to so we knew to hide before he got there. At the end one of us decided to hide in a locker while I opened the gate to tell us when he was coming. After that game, I just put my head on my desk and we vowed not to run this until DBD fixed it.
It's true OoO could do this before but now there's no draw back to it. You can now see the killer from any where while in a locker, know your safe and then do a gen. Rinse and repeat.
