my god there is a big difference between crossplay and no crossplay
I'm playing PC on steam and I turned crossplay off.
all of my games today have been HORRIBLE every single one of them.
now either console players don't know how to play or all my games have been SWF
but why is there such a big difference between crossplay and not? Like I NEVER want to go against 4 steam players ever again.

I play on PC and a lot of those players are dumb as well.

Usually the people who turn crossplay off are the ones who are more serious about the game and play it to win. So survivors will be better loopers and actually do gens, and killers are basically all Spirit and Nurse.

I play with crossplay off on both Xbox and Steam, but occasionally turn it on for fun and I've always felt the matches are more or less the same no matter if its on or off. Sometimes I win at five gens using rancor only, other times I get destroyed with perks that are designed to actually help my game like surge or pop per se (I don't run the ruin undying tinkerer or some meta like that, because its overrated IMO and don't see its value). Crossplay off has a higher tendency for you to get the so called "Sweat squad swf" because a lot of people on one system play with others on the same system and can use things like discord or invite to party, whereas with it on you get more solo que players with no communication available. I've been destroyed by console gamers and then turned around and won against steam players with legacy and 6k hours that have *insert comp team name* in their bio so its simply a matter of how lucky you are that day I guess.

Oh another tread indicating console players are bad...
But crossplay off means more chance of swf, less chance of horrible crossplay latency, less players on pc alone so bad players are less common not to mention pc doesnt have to deal with bad frames and lag while having benefits such a filters, low graphics, stretch res etc.
But let's not bash on any platform, its childish and all platforms have really good players and really bad players

That's not exclusive to PC. I play on PS4 and my games with cross off are also complete defeats. Usually because only people who train for tournaments will play with cross off, and everybody SWFs.

I'm just saying that my experience with crossplay off was HORRIBLE
there is a clear difference between off and on

now think how much fun it is for Console Killers to play against PC ;)

People on pc tend to try a lot harder than console players in my experience.

I mostly play crossplay off for both sides and I could never go back.
Crossplay off is harder matches, yes but most of the people there in my experience are
a.) Not nearly as toxic.
b.) Actually try to have fun and loop instead of the extremely boring pallet camp into w key meta.
And do note the toxic thing isn't bashing console players. The pc players on cross-off are way more toxic than the console players on cross off imo.

Most people who turn off plattform play competive. That goes for all plattforms.

I'm on Switch so crossplay isn't really an option right now because of 5.1.0 patch not going live.
As killer matches are easier lol it could be im using fun builds, but who knows.
As survivor though, the killers are more sweaty lol I was tunneled right off in both games
Also I did see some PC players. I guess some crossplay is still live for people who didn't download the patch?

Yep, PC with no cross-play is where us tryhards are at.

I thought all your games were SWF already?

It def gets more sweaty if you turn crossplay off, no matter which plattform. It's the same phenomenon on Xbox and Playstation.
