(Most) Gen Locations on RPD.
Played through the RPD enough to memorize most generator locations, as well as 15 times marking down (mid chase sometimes) any gen locations I couldn't remember.
The base map (that being the door/vault locations) was made by u/Agricola20, their post can be found here. (Do Reddit Links work on the forums? I'll find out.)
If this gets received well, or enough people ask me, I'll go through and mark Totem locations, as well. If I find new gen locations, or others state where gens are (I feel one can be in the Press Room, but I've never seen one there personally) then I'll update the post with new locations, if that's possible.

Holy crap! Has anybody seriously ever escaped this map?

Yeah because most killers give up when they get it and afk even at red ranks. Once you lose that center gen in the lobby the game is essentially over because patrolling other gens is awful.
Imo BHVR should have split the map into 2-3 realms including slightly more areas on the third floor but having each zone be the West and East Wing.

Completely false. Most killers do very well on this map as the survivors simply don't save in time and Ruin/Undying is a nightmare due to the size.

I've legit never seen a killer get more than one kill on this map without camping and I've been getting this map all week. I've even played against 2 killers I recognized that said ######### it who usually ######### on everyone.

Then they're playing it badly. Many killers have and can 4k on this map. It's not so one-sided like you want to say it is.
Ruin/Undying will make it a nightmare, the size can make hook saves terrible to coordinate in solo queue, and many pallets are very easy to hit over and play around. I've been able to get a number of survivors stuck in dead-end rooms because they don't know the layout.

Is it sad I didn't even realize there is a third floor?

When survivors memorize totem locations good luck defending those two disposable perks. I've personally already memorized most of the totem locations and they disappear within 2 minutes. Granted it's not hard to figure out where they're at on this map.
There's also too many safe vaulting locations that extend chase for far too long. Once you get survivors who actually know what to do on this map you'd realize it's not so killer sided.
Give it a few weeks for survivors to learn the map and you'll see what I mean. Just because someone somehow managed a 4k on the map doesn't mean the killer played well it likely means the survivors had no idea what they were doing.

Nah not really just depends if you played the RE2 Remake or not. I personally was speedrunning it for a bit so I know the map inside and out. Granted there are a lot of doorways and hallways in the DBD version that weren't even in the Remake. I feel that the East Wing + Lobby and the West Wing + Lobby should have been their own thing with the third floor being accessible and then varying walls being broken in multiple versions. BHVR could have easily made a lot of cool variations of this map but chose to just open the entire map + add some senseless entity corruption thing when that's not even present on their other maps and as a Resident Evil fan it bothers the ######### out of me.
Technically there is a third floor on the DBD version if you enter the library which imo should have been a way to access part of the third floor on that wing along with the hallway near the upstairs shower above the armory.
