My theory why devs buffed lockers

Okay I'm not going to lie. If they actually did that buff just for one worthless perk I'm going to be pissed5

with how greedy this latest DLC comes across... I wouldn't be surprised.3

That would be a pretty stupid reason if they did. Iron Maiden is a trash perk. Soon as they see you have it they are never using a locker again and then you just wasted 2 perk slots JUST to make BBQ function as it did before.
The real reason they nerfed it was because too many rank 20's complained about BBQ rather than actually learning to adapt using the multiple counters for it that already exist.

Again it's a theory but makes sense I mean people have to buy and invest time in bubba before just for bac though people day this is a nurf to Freddy think about it run class photo and a add-ons to make skill checks impossible sleep all four and don't hurt what's gonna happen they spend the gsme hiding till crows come follow you to be hooked and awoken and if they try a gen you chase them off or grab then either way there gonna rage0

This is what I thought as well, it promotes hiding in lockers so their new perk will get some actual use. But if they were worried it wouldn't get actual use, why add it?
They could have given him a better perk and use Iron Maiden in a new collection for standard Killer perks instead of unlockable ones.

I think it is to give survivors the option to be more stealthy. However you are right that it can killers deal with survivors who are afraid to do gens and keep the killer hostage by constant hiding in lockers.redsopine01 said:It's so people by legion so they can use iron maiden to counter locker hiding0 -
True also are you a Freddy main and do you think I have a point on how op he's gonna be with the right add-ons this his change?HatCreature said:This is what I thought as well, it promotes hiding in lockers so their new perk will get some actual use. I was a Freddy main but then switched to Clown until Freddy gets his rework, I'm excited.
Anyway, I haven't tried it yet but if the lockers block Auras then everyone who's in Dreamworld could hide in a locker but then they're wasting time, wasting their time, wasting the Killer's time etc. If they stay in there until they have Crows over their head then they're stupid, I don't think it will make him OP it will just make playing him harder because suddenly he'll be looking for birds instead of Auras. Of course, hiding in a locker is also the best thing for Freddy as well because it's a free kill lol maybe Iron Maiden would be good on him.

And freddyFlashlightHero said:The reason why the "Nerfed" hiding in lockers because killer mains cried about losing survivors in chase or ohh they do it to counter my ability. Ohh I can't get my achievement....
But the Devs dropped the ball here. They gave you a useless perk only good for the Doctor0 -
Maybe it's just to give lockers more of a reason to be used. Lockers can be more risky to use than anything else. I personally like the fact that lockers now have more of a usage.

The 4 seconds is ok but the Expose feature is barely usable, either buff it or that it out.

Yeah iron Maiden is pretty weak, I agree on that. Maybe buff the time you are exposed from 15 to 30 seconds.

Well if they changed the seconds to 4 flat and go 45/55/60 with the exposed timer that would be perfect. I'm only saying 60 because you need to travel over to that locker and chase that Survivor who is most definitely going to loop you. And it's consistent with the other perks.

I mean Dlc perks appear in the shrine within a couple weeks after release so I don’t think that’s really forcing you to get it. They did the same thing with Rancor countering Decisive.0

They’ve done similar things. Kate’s “Boil Over” effect was something that was present before she came out, as all hooks in view but with no walls blocking sight of the hook would have the hook’s aura be non-present. But they had mentioned, around the time of the Spirit’s development/release that they were thinking of adding this Locker buff. I don’t think BHVR are that desperate for cash just yet.0

They have this delusion that you can counter everything with perks and more often than not, killers get the pointy end of the stick.
Survivors get a buff, and then they give killers a perk to counter it, and they repeat it like there is no end.
Game has a bad design, and to compensate it, they give killers another perk to combat that.
Here are a couple of things that are worth mentioning.
Game has terrible setups, that is okay just equip bamboozle.
The game has potential to be over within 3-4 minutes, that's okay just equip ruin.
People sabotage everything with toolboxes, that is okay just equip hangman's trick.
These are a couple of examples and please notice that, survivors don't need to bring any perks to have the ability to genrush, sabotage or bad setups. There are still multiple examples but I think that is enough.
They need to get rid of this mentality. If anything, survivors perks' should be counters to killers' perks not the way around.

Yea, that's definitely not always true. The number of times bbq has shown up on the shrine can be counted on one hand, guess how many fingers it takes to count the number of weeks before BBQ first appeared on it..
