Seriously, why is the DC penalty back?

All the killer has to do is DC at the start of the match and your game ends up frozen, forcing you to manually close the game. Which in turn causes a penalty. This has happened TWICE today. And this doesn't factor in the other garbage bugs and even worse performance for console players.


Yeah now I'm eating 15 minutes of my limited time to play because no effort is put into player experience beyond the bare minimum. This is a joke. The fact that this stuff is even possible should be enough of a reason to revise this unfair punishment. And I hear there is a similar issue with disconnection from host. At this point just give a big BP penalty to the DC'er and a boost to the remaining people, at least then those eating ######### can at least play the game despite losing points.


Added note, there has bene an inordinate amount of hackers recently. Both played ghostface and just abused hatchets/flew around to ruin the game. Again, why is there a DC penalty when in the space of two days I've had three of these? (Unrelated to previous issue but I'm noticing a consistent pattern in this sort of garbage that makes this game awful to just casually enjoy anymore)

    Yeah the dc penalty being back on hasn't changed anything, just had all 3 of my teammates dc last match. I agree they should be on though, but not until they fix the game properly and iron out all the bugs and lag issues.

    its just how our community is. Devs try to do something actually good and disable the penalty due to crashing. And our community being our community decides to abuse the lack of penalty to the point solo queue was becoming unplayable. And now here we are. To sum it up. This whole situation is why we can’t have nice things here.
