Yes I, and likely MANY others, can/will confirm that the killer role is stressful, but that's how the game is designed. Survivors have 4 players attempting to complete gens in a timely manner with the Killer as their only Obstacle, but when you flip the perspective to said killer, you get a single player doing their damnedest to race against time, and apply enough pressure to stop the survivors from completing their objective efficiently.

Frustrating as this is, it's how the game was designed, and believe me when I say that I'm grateful you didn't try killer before the mid 2019 updates that gave them more power to balance out against all the crap the survivors, up to that point, had been putting them through. Regardless, DH (regardless of it's current distance) doesn't need a nerf, as any observant killer can counter it, so While you are making a suggestion to nerf it, it's honestly not so big of a problem that it deserves said nerf.

I empathize with you, and encourage you to play harder, better, and above all refrain from holding back on any builds, or tactics you employ while playing Killer. After all, if survivors never hold back on their build, tactics, items etc... why should you?

If you need any more simple guidance please refer to my recent post:

    I hope it helps.

Dead hard is fine as is, killer will always be stressful as it’s supposed to be.

Yes nerf dead hard and then every survivor will use sprint burst instead of dead hard or sprint burst, great idea!

At least Spirint Burst is not second chance perk. And when i see one survivor walking, i know they have SB. This perk is counterable. But Dead Hard is really unhealthy perk. You have to respect it, even survivor has not it.

Doesn’t matter to me I use lithe, balanced and smash hit. Just speaking generally.

Good to see someone who is not using DH. So much survivors are using it and DH is not effective anymore. Because i know they will use it and i am just baiting this. But when i see someone using lithe or smash hit, this is really hurts me in chase. Because unexpected.

I prefer them as it’s easier to make a plan whilst on a gen as to how you’re going to use your exhaustion. Smash hit + iron will + lucky break is my favourite combo right now, very powerful in certain situations.

This is free escape on chase. And if you have medkit, you can do it 2 or 3 times in one match.

I wish survivors would me more interesting like this. But usually same and boring meta perks.

This is one of the things I loved about the F13th game. It was one sided, Jason was a beast. It was a challenge and a thrill to actually survive. Survivors should be scared of the killer but they’re so confident and they know the game and all it’s little exploits. This is one of the reasons why there are so many tunneling/camping killers right now.

    Playing killer is just crap.

A large chunk of the community have ruined the experience.

Yeah I always bring a medkit because solo queue anyway. Only works sometimes, but it’s funny when it does, especially when you hide in the basement since killers hardly ever expect it.

You should use my build too, this is also so much fun. Q&Q + Head On + Iron Will + Dance With Me

I am running around locker area. And dropping pallet when killer come closer. And then i am jumping locker when killer breaking pallet. And killer is losing me. They are losing so much time when looking around for me. If they are leave, i won the chase. If they come to check locker, Head On saves me and with Dance perk, they are still losing me.

I found this build really strong and fun.

I also will try your build btw.

My thoughts exactly. Jason felt powerful as hell. In DBD it's the survivors who feel powerful.

I've been thinking about using those 3, and maybe swapping lithe with resilience for vault speed or dead hard while trying out vigil to see how the impact on CDR helps and just replacing vigil with resilience if it doesn't have a big payout. I wanna have fun with the new pallets.

It wasn't always this stressful, and it doesn't have to be this stressful. It's a game - it's supposed to be fun - for everyone

Don't see what you mean by "any more", most killers have been made objectively easier to play over the years, with killer nerfs being few and far between.

I don't think it's stressful. It's a game, one where you don't lose anything if you have a bad match. Just play for fun

I dont know, The Doctor, The Clown and The Deathslinger are laughing.

I'm fine with being a glorified birthday party clown who merely entertains children with lame tricks. All I've ever wanted was a chance to show the kiddies my magic trick before getting pelted by tomatoes or all the guests just leave. Anniversary event was simply awful for this. There's 5 cakes and you want to pop 5 gens in 3 minutes and leave with zero boldness or altruism points? Like, why even bother dude.
