What's the deal with Huntress?
Everytime I want to play survivor, every game it feels like is against a Huntress. I am not even joking. I is all the time. 24 killers in this game, and I get matched against the same one all the ######### time. It is getting boring. I have reached the point of wanting to d/c evertytime I hear that stupid lullaby. What is the deal? Why can't I get any other killers? Hell, I would take a good Nurse or a face camping Bubba at this point, as long as it isn't another goddamn Huntress

Huntress is one of the top tier Killers and doesn't have a high skill cap. Rather have your games tbh, all I get in red Ranks are Blights or Nurses

All of a sudden, aiming is no longer a skill

Just put crosshairs on your screen with tape and you're sorted. Compared to Nurse or Blight, even Oni. She's not that skillful

Huntress is fun.

She's very popular and fun to play. Not much else to think about. I find versing Huntress very fun too. She's balanced, and in the right hands, very scary. Also she's free.

Depends on the person, I find Oni very hard to use but can do trick shots with Huntress easily

Honestly I’d argue she takes more skill than nurse due to having to play every loop differently. Nurse is just blink accuracy

Huntress is a popular killer with a strong power that’s simple to understand. Who is easy to learn but hard to master. Allowing for more casual players to perform well with her. Also fun to play and doesn’t have to deal with managing a cool down or recharge

You just contradicted yourself hard there. You say that it depends on the person so maybe someone will find Huntress harder than Oni. Yet since you find Huntress easy then that means her skill cap is low for everyone.

Every killer requires skill, some are harder to use then others. When compared to Blight or Nurse. The fact you see a lot of Huntresses though just shows that she can't be difficult to master. Unlike Oni which you don't see much of anymore for some unknown reason. All the Oni mains have vanished

I don’t envy you. The few that I’ve ran into the past couple of days were really good and annoying to go against. The best Huntresses are the patient ones who hold their hatchets & wait to see what you’re going to do. Once I hear that long awkward pause, I know I’m screwed. “Holding W” means just that- I’m holding that Huntress’ W for her because running away zig zagging, straight, or faking left/right means absolutely nothing to this marksman.

You still need to know how to aim and the hitboxes are consistent, you need to learn what you can and cant get away with, and still be quite precise

Huntress is very popular among new players, which often ends up with them maining her for a long time if not permanently. Me and every single other person I know who's played dbd has been drawn to huntress first out of every killer and idk why, there's just something about her.
So maybe the fact that she's fun, free, and accessible to newer players contributes to that.
