intel build on RPD=chef's kiss
Rolled RPD last night and we got stuck with a face-camp til death Clown. It was a very miserable match and he let me bleed out. Clown kept catching me out with my pants down and I could never find a pallet.
So, naturally I felt bitter about it and decided "I won't let that happen again tonight" and I upped the ante with my ace in the hole, Open Handed for a hacker man build with Kindred, Bond and Windows of Opportunity.
Funnily enough, we rolled RPD on the very next match again. I see my team halfway across the map on another level sandbagging and dropping every pallet and vault spamming and overall being useless. They even ran Trapper close to me a couple of times. I decide I want none of this and I'll just do gens on the opposite ends of the map. Trapper came for me a few times but even with 4 killers, my observational awareness was simply too powerful.
In the end, I got caught because I gambled on an exit gate without Iron Will, but I was still pleased with the result.
Man, it felt so nice to just glide through all the hallways and corridors as if I knew the map like the back of my hand. Everything just connected and flowed.
I'm not here to proclaim any kind of new meta or strat, because I would say this build is not optimal. But darn it felt good to not really have to think about a whole lot while playing this level.

This is what I’ve usually been running if I offer it. I’ve tried balanced + spine chill instead of fixated burst but omg.
Fixated burst is just too good on RPD. There’s so many places you can just walk away from a chase if you have a head start on the killer. It’s been hilarious ditching chases entirely by walking down a hallway at a 3+ way junction mid chase.
Add in a key for good measure in case the team is getting slain; although I’m sure wake up would be just as viable for camping a door.

Fixated sounds fantastic on this level, I've got to give that a shot

Try it with a blood amber key, you will never get caught. I would put RPD as the best stealth map in the game hands down (unless it’s a stealth killer ofc). Fixated is just OP on it, if you are used to using it.
No other map really offers you multiple escape options per chase. Most maps if you want to escape a chase entirely you need a full build dedicated to it. RPD you can do it reliably with 1-2 perks.
Im sure lucky break would be borderline broken as well but I prefer fixated since it can be used all game.
