I have to confess.

I feel like I’ve been playing this game for a decent amount of time now. Not much can scare me or creep me out anymore. But I have to be honest. Michael Myers still scares me just as much as he did the first time I saw him. I don’t mean just when you’re on that first gen turn around and see that pale mask staring at you from behind a bush. I mean everything about him. To be completely honest I literally play like a rank 20 against him because he freaks me out so much. Dead by daylight isn’t scary anymore but Michael always will be

I'm too big of a Halloween fan lol I've never been spooked by him, even during my first match. Same with Ghostface.
I get unnerved when I don't hear a terror radius or see anyone get injured, but once I see them, I'm like "oh hey".

Binge tf out of the films 😎 I was obsessed as a teen, so the mask is almost comforting lol

I will never forget the first time I faced the Ghost Face.
It was the Red Forest. Mother's Dwelling. Myself and two other survivors had spawned in a corner tile with a generator, which we immediately began to fix.
Seconds passed. Pistons rumbled in my ears, and yet, it was the lack of a killer's heartbeat which caught my attention. Curious, I panned my camera away from the gen, surveying the surrounding area towards the center of the map.
Nothing.
There my camera stayed, unmoving, ever focused on the center of the map. I stared blankly, holding the repair button and hitting good skill checks like a zombie.
That was when it caught my eye.
So close it was, a good yard or two away, I'd wager. The grass was moving beside an unspent pallet. Odd. Why was it moving? I strained my eyes- and then I saw it. The paper white, twisted visage, truly a Ghost's Face, hovering in the night.
He had been there the whole time.
It was too late to react first to fall was David. Feng followed suit. I ran for my life, praying to my mustache that I would make it out alive. I stopped to attempt a safe pallet loop, but by the time I'd turned around, he had already swung through the pallet.
Boom three survivors downed before a single generator popped. Claudette dced. We lost. That genuinely scared the poptarts outta me.

Ah, I remember this one match on Rotten Fields.
Beginning of the match. Feng and I start on a gen. I spot a Jigsaw Box not too far away through the corn, and point to it to let Feng know it’s a Pig.
It was not a Pig.

I had a match yesterday with a Michael who somehow crept up on me despite me panning the camera around while doing a gen. He wasn't there and then he was. How did he get there so fast? It honestly startled me. He also downed me and hooked me and acted like he was going to face camp me, but he left. It was honestly unsettling with him just staring at me xD
I remember waking up and hopping on DBD while half asleep and my first match was against a Michael and he just yanked me off the gen. Woke me up instantly. He ended up giving me hatch too, which was nice of him.
The game isn't scary to me because I've been a horror addict my whole life. The stealth killers do startle me, though. Especially Michael.

ESPECIALLY if he kidnaps you off of an objective and you get that high music note!
An honorable mention is most killers with Tinkerer, while walls are obscuring your FOV, and you’re not aware the killer has it.

There's only one thing that scares me more then Michel or ghost face
Bubba without tinkerer

I am about 200 hours in and fairly new, and most of the scare factor has worn off. I DO play with my daughter though, so just to add fun, we tend to scream often XD. I do completely agree with the OP though...a sneaky Myers is horrifying and makes me jump still...as does:
-peeking ghostfaces
-a pig who knows how to ambush well
-spirit when she appears in my face
-when things are very quiet then I suddenly hear a chainsaw rev
-me sneaking around and all is quiet and suddenly *ding ding ding* happens right behind me
-vommy mommys puke flying through the air about to rain down on me

I will never forget that scare that gave me in Midwich without Spine Chill, with Ghostface in my first game of survivor as well.

Yep. Nothing in the game quite like a Myers jump scaring you.
