Will "The teacher" ever come to dbd?
And yes, I know that the teacher files are supposed to troll us and stuff like that, but why don't they just proceed with the idea of having a killer that is a teacher?
Some say they canceled this killer because they were "too goofy" but...Why don't just take the goofiness away and make them a more serious/scary killer? The concept is too good to be completely scrapped, imagine, the survivor of the chapter could even be one of the teacher's old students.
The devs even encourage this kind of discussion involving "The teacher" files, with one of the devs saying: "I wonder if people are ever going to find out why we put those unused icons in the files" I don't have the image of this exact quote, but I would gratefully appreciate if anyone finds it.
Cote even said in an interview with The King that those files are possibly coming, well...kinda
King: "Will we ever see "the teacher" files being used?"
Mathieu: "...............Yes..............................................there's something to do with them......"
Now, I don't know if our good old boi Mathieu was telling the truth or not, but it would be such a waste of a good concept of a chapter just to be thrown in the files as a joke.
But that's just my opinion on this theory, what do you guys think?

They could always inspire them off that short horror story of a kindergarten teacher who poisoned her students around some holiday so that they don't grow up, since kids who grow up become corrupted and lose their sweet kind personality.

Yeah, I really hope we see the Teacher's assets used. They have the opportunity to be creative in both lore and power aspects.
My theory, however, is that the Teacher was intended to be the first concept of a ranged killer, which ended up becoming the Huntress instead. The spiked apple (the Trapple or whatever) sounds like something the Teacher would throw to damage survivors.
