I've never seen Candyman, I've known the character since Terrordrome, do I want him? Yes, but I have never seen any movie of him.

He deserves a spot in the game tbh, as a standalone killer. He's one of the most wanted killers in the game, plus the first movie was an experience.

Never seen candyman, I don't have anything against him coming in but I don't have any particular desire for him to come.
That being said, I find it hilarious how much people keep guessing he'll join every time there's a new chapter. I hope he never comes just to drive those people wild.

I barely know who candyman is but kinda wouldn't be thrilled about it because he sounds boring from what I've heard.

Not a fan of Candyman honestly. Watched the movies as a kid, found them okay, rewatched them as an adult and didn't like them. I just don't like the movies.
Now when it comes to dbd, I don't care as long as the killer is viable and I can actually play against him without major lag spikes. This is my biggest complaint with Nemesis is that when I play against him, I know I'm already dead. The "console fix" didn't fix the major lag spike for me when he uses his tentacle to attack so I always get it and can never dodge it because it still freezes for that second.
As long as the Nemesis issue isn't present, I don't care if the killer is Candyman as long as he's viable and smooth.

I loved the first Candyman movie. I am excited for the new one that's coming out this month I believe. Its looks great based on the trailers.
I'd be all for him to come into the game. Not sure what his power would be, but it should involve bees.

I feel nothing. Imo there's a long list of more exciting options. He is popular though for some reason.

Bees as attack and Mirrors to teleport, it is a Freddy with special attack instead of traps.

i am probably gonna watch the classic and reboot movie sometime once that one is out.
also I find it weird that people say he was guessed for the past chapters when people always said he wouldn’t come out before the movie released.. like.. everybody assumed he got postponed because of the movie delay and no one expected to see him before the release as far as I have seen here on the forums..

If we had to get a candy killer, I'd prefer a Gingerbread Man
"Jokes" aside, I feel literally nothing towards him. I'd be happy for the people that wanted him, and not mad considering I already got the licenses I wanted, but unless the contents of the chapter itself were good (meaning the perks and power) I'd be bored and wait for the next chapter even before this chapter released.

Honestly, besides Xenomorphs and Supernatural making their way into DBD I really wish the devs would focus more on original content and do more game health chapters with cosmetics.

Good God, I just finished watching the first movie and the truth bothers me the scene of that gang and Helen in the bathroom where the child died. Honestly even though it's an act, I get pretty mad lol.

I have literally no connection to the franchise, my only concerns are if a potential chapter is to come out it'll be received poorly and never be touched on again past the week it was announced.

Candyman is more brutal killer than Freddy and Helen I doubt that she could become a survivor, it reminds me of Nightmare on Elm Street 2 when Freddy controls Jessie, Here Candyman makes Helen see a killer and a crazy woman, the truth made me sad when hands the baby to the mother. If it is a good adaptation to the slasher genre and at the same time mysterious.

I did not finish seeing it complete, I stayed in the part where Candyman says to Helen "we must die !!" and where she saves the baby and Candyman dies.

In the end Candyman destroys Helen's loved ones and Helen becomes a Candyman-style myth. The truth is that I liked the movie but I still believe, That Candyman is similar to Freddy and more brutal than him or maybe both are.

In each film they leave the survivor as insane before the police, never missing, In Nightmare on Elm Street 3, Friday the 13th part 5 and 6, Child's Play, Halloween H20, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and in Candyman now Helen and Ethan (Now I'm watching Candyman 2)

I would like him if his power is fun and good and unique, but I could say the same for any killer
But assuming the powers are good, if I had to pick a license Candyman would be among my top picks, just behind F13 and Evil Within

Hes such a heavily desired killer at this point that its basically a meme. "This time it'll be candyman!!! Guys believe me!!!" and honestly after hearing it so much i kinda agree. I Hope it is candyman. I've never watched the movies and i know basically nothing about him, but it would be exciting to have another lisenced character in our roster. Free publicity for a game i love.

Australian here. Lots of horror fans are very familiar with Candyman. It has cult status here. Most of Clive Barkers films do. Also, Clive Barker is British. So I’d confidently guess Candyman has a following there too.

A movie centered around a urban legend set in a area that most horror films never show featuring a ghostly killer that isn't your typical masked slasher or wearing a pig mask but has a simple design and is based on a short story by one of the best horror writers ever.. Yes this is movie is dumb. /s
