Whats the point of DC penalty?

Yes, in a casual game. Also, from what I am reading, Apex Legends does have a disconnect penalty.

1-3 disconnects a week due to bad connection is understandable. Crap happens ^^
I know some people think there is nothing wrong with DC because their fun has highest priority over sportsmanship. So if people are hitting that DC button multiples time a day then their match making should pair them with liked minded people
Lord knows people would complain that that is unfair as well lol.

This is brilliant. I love it.
Yes, it is. If multiple people are playing and some win but some lose it is competitive. Stop trying to use 'Its just casual' as an excuse to bully people into doing what you want. You are being entitled.

haha bully, get a grip.

Thanks for letting me know that talking to you is pointless. You don't want solutions; you just want what you want to make yourself feel skilled.

To stop cry baby cowards from constantly ruining matches for four other players each time at no consequence.

You should exactly like the person who the DC penalty is supposed to hurt.

Casual game doesn't mean you are free to do everything omnipotent. It doesn't justify ruining others gameplay. Think, does casual game mean you could use cheating on this game? You need to be 'educated' fair and sportsmanship, if you really think DC is fine cause this is a casual game.

The point is to make you suffer, one way or the other.

That's great except I wrote an objective fact and you tried to disprove it with a subjective opinion.

The only real diplomatic stance on this is coming up with a ranked system that takes this behavior as the primary factor. Since 50/50 we have both casuals and hard-core players that equally come here and provide the game a pool of players and keep the game going, regardless.
If a player is not willing/wanting to remain in a match and takes first hook and abandons a match. The player should receive a substantial rank progression penalty. So as they tier up. Players that are playing by the rules and expectations are in the Red ranks and those whom are going to abandon the match or take first hooks are not climbing up in ranks.
If they hard-ban people for doing this. There wouldn't be much of a game. Since this happens in every online video game. But at the end of the day there should be skill ceiling for player habits. So those that do wish to participate in the match do not have to deal with this.
