Cross progression
Ive played on xbox one since year 3 and I have recently gotten a brand new gaming laptop in which I can play dead by daylight on (which I would much rather do). However I cant acsess my xbox one account on my laptop. Please can anyone notify me if there is a way to link my accounts or please notify the devs about cross progression so that I may have my outfits and characters on my laptop.

I would love to see that as well, shouldn't be such a big deal to crossprogression the xbox with the windows version (not the steam version, if that is a problem) )

I'm actually wondering if you could get cross progression between Windows store and Xbox considering they are both from the same provider (Microsoft).

For all those who commented I would like to say that I own Dbd on xbox and then re downloaded it through microsoft store and it makes me a second account with the same username However I also get achievements that I already have on xbox.
Hope that clears some stuff up :)

Any updates on cross-progression? My PS4 bricked (with my 5-year maxxed PS4 DBD account with all expansions) and my PC account is barely used. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLPPPP

I would be happy enough if cross progression just applied to cosmetics and chars you purchased from the store tbh

I mean sure the grind would be rough as hell but at least I'd have a bit of an incentive, no way would I repurchase anything.

Nothing new for cross progression.. i wouldn’t expect it any time soon sadly.. we still don’t have Nintendo Switch available and That was once confirmed for September 2020..
you can use your account on another PS4 or transfer your progress and purchases on a PS5 Account though..

the existence of Microsoft's handling of the Xbox platform makes it pretty obvious this is all on BHVR. I got Gamepass on Xbox and it lets me play on both my xbox and PC using the same Gamertag. There is no good reason why Xbox at the very least shouldn't have cross progression.

The fact we get cross progress on Steam, Stadia and Switch makes it pretty obvious this is indeed all on Microsoft and Sony.

Doubtful. There's probably a fee for having cross progression due to the likely of lost sales on consoles and BHVR just doesn't want to pay it.
And as lauraa said, on Xbox you can save your progress on console then go play the same game through the Xbox app on your PC and all of your progress is still there since it's the same Xbox Live/Microsoft account. Dead by Daylight is the only game I know of that doesn't allow this. And having cross-progression between games on Xbox Game Pass for console and Xbox Game Pass for PC is one of the main features that Game Pass offers.. Which to me all but proves it's a BHVR issue.

They still haven't put out crossprogression for the platforms they were actually able to say were getting crossprogression. With that in mind, I wouldn't get my hopes up about xbox or playstation getting it. It's just not going to happen if they can't even get it for those they said would get it.

Lets be honest here but cross progression aint gonna happen. There have been some many problems with the game that the devs just aint bothered to fix like lag on last gen-consoles which surely should have been shown to the devs by this point and yet it hasnt been fixed or changed in the slightest

maybe it’s not entirely the fault of BHVR but both them and Microsoft/Sony? I know it’s so cool to hate on BHVR but in this case we just know that it can’t be completely on them alone..
