It's the 12 year olds from fortnite who are used to saying "come 1v1 me"

I thought that's where that would be from. Honestly I remember people saying that way back when too. Like during Halo, Warcraft, Call Of Duty... Honestly It's Hilarious!

Yeah, saw tons of these comments on the Discord chat today. The "competitive" players have huge egos.

I miss the days of LAN parties.

Depends on the context. It can be really irritating to be out-perked or out-mapped only to have one side act like they've won something. The implication behind "come scrim" is: if you really think you're better, play again under a balanced ruleset on a more balanced map. For comp players especially, it's a super irritating position to be in. Run the full sweat comp build and playstyle, they complain. Run some weak perks without add ons, and you take some losses from people you know you'd beat pretty easily in a comp setting. And the type of person to play DbD competitively isn't going to have the personality to shrug it off. All you're really left with is "come scrim".

People who say this usually have no other skill in life besides playing this game. It's super embarrassing.

Back in the day when Warcraft 2 was popular, you would see this a lot. Then came star craft a bit later and egos went soaring. We used to play this old DOS game called Dark Legion that was a 1v1 that was awesome. I’m rambling. This doesn’t even have anything to do with the OP. I just got nostalgic. Sorry.

@Ghouled_Mojo Oh lol you're fine mate
@edgarpoop I mean I can see why they'd be frustrated but a game like this... If you lose you lose you win you win. Regardless of what you brought into the match. It was their choice to do so.

I mean Self Care in a SWF is VERY good and its one of those perks that only really work in a SWF. Pair it up with Borrowed Time and it can be a real life saver.
