Evolving to a new environment

I had a realisation today and discovered that 1 the demogorgon you play in the game is likely a random pick from the mind layers horde, and most importantly this demogorgon has been slowly changing to suit its new surroundings which is shown by the cosmetics it has received. If the demogorgon changes because it's under a new influence then what does that tells us about the entity, the demogorgon, the relation they have and the relation the entity has with other killers?
