Say something nice in the pre-game chat, survivors. It sets a good tone!
Someone yesterday was just like "hey how are you all?" this honestly sent me into the match with better intentions.
I'm always trying to find ways to add more positivity to the game, everyone knows we need it. I kinda forgot there was even a pre-game chat.
It's easy to assume the worst of everyone in this game. I think we all do it at times, but just like... humanizing the experience beforehand was really nice. If you can get a chill vibe with the survivors, it reminds us we're here to play a game and have fun. I think they'll be less likely to freak out on the killer in postgame chat and all that. Or you know, accuse you of being out to get them.
Even if it's just a little bit. Being able to communicate BEFORE all the crazy stressful **** happens I think really sets an important tone/social dynamic.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk, I'll be here all week.

No game chat for me and my friends we on console :(

I came from console and honestly, it's worth it not having a post-game chat. LOL. There's a reason all console killers have their messages turned off. There's a lot more venomous bs than there is anything worth reading. I'm trying to help that.

When people are friendly to me in the pre-game chat, it makes me want to try harder for them. I feel like I don't want to disappoint them for some reason. :)

Usually I get ignored, so I just don't say anything unless someone else say something.

Same. Us consolers have no opportunity to even try this. Whether it would be solos trying to coordinate perks & plays, or calming anyone from a previous rough match, who knows the good it could do. Maybe even over-riding or preventing some toxicity...
