Explain Calm Spirit
I'm using Calm Spirit a lot lately and just want to know if it actually works
If the Killer uses Iron Maiden, Infectious, or anything that causes the Scream Flare aura. Does it hide it or something? Just curious because I was in terror radius, person went down and he had Infectious but because I didn't scream he didn't know where I was.
Rank 1 Blight so I doubt he ignored the scream aura flare if there is one?

Calm Spirit also prevents crows from flying away, meaning you can sneak around a lot easier on certain maps like the tugboat in the swamp.

They never go off for me when I'm running it. But they do if someone follows me lol

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that they don't make a sound, but the red bubble does show. I could be wrong tho

Unless you actually physically touch them. Even with Calm Spirit if you actually come into contact with a crow, it flies away.

Well the thing is you won’t see anything from the killers perspective because they won’t know you have it, unless it’s a Doc running restraint add ons.

Calm Spirit does exactly what it’s intended to do: stopping you from screaming.
However, it doesn’t protect you from aura reveals from Doctor, no matter the add-on. A friend and I tested this in custom matches.
Although, I’ll point out that the test was a few months ago. Whether or not it was glitch, remains unknown.
I’ll test it again to be sure.

The aura reveals are when you tier up in madness, not when you scream.

Just got done with a custom match.
Seems like I was wrong either way. There’s no aura reveal at all. With Doctor and his base power, at least.

Calm spirit aka "no noise when hooked", it makes me sooooo unconfortable.

Correct. No scream. No location notification. The only thing that gets around Calm Spirit is Doc’s Restraint add ons because the aura reveal has nothing to do with screaming, it has to do with tiering up in madness.

The red bubble shows in certain scenario's where the scream is more of a secondary part of the effect. If the scream is the primary effect, the bubble doesnt show.
The one scenario I can think off, is missing madness 3 skillchecks. You dont scream, but you are missing a skillcheck. Missing a skillcheck will always show a bubble unless the perk is specifically designed to deny it(bite the bullet and technician). Since there are no perks that muffle the bubble on madness skillchecks, they will still show. However, if you run around "screaming", you will never show a bubble.
Another one is Freddy's traps. They send a bubble when they are triggered, but they dont make scream.
Another fun fact, if you use Technician, Nemesis' zombies actually wont actively walk towards your gen untill they are within 12 meters range, even if they have an increased detection addon(unless you're injured without iron will, ofcourse, or breathing harder if the killer runs stridor).
