    Reading something like this:

"...Best loopers always know where they currently are in terms of map positioning, as well as the next safe spot to go to after their current tile gets used up..."

...makes me realize why I dropped and uninstalled this game on PC back in 2018. That is a ridiculous task for a casual gamer to perform. And yes, I do give a rat's ass about the E-Sports/semi-pro bunch. They can do this stuff on a server somewhere in Uganda (?) as far as I care. I just don't want to have to play with them, which the current matchmaking forces me occasionally to do.

To expect this level of work to be put by a player into such a rather casual game is just nuts. Some of us got a proper job already, we don't need another one provided for us by BHVR.

I'm starting to think slowly that the best for this game might be to throw the over-competitive bunch (Yes, looking at you, sweaty SWF tryharders! ) together with self-proclaimed "pro" players, the trolls and the rest of the toxic and unsavory bunch onto their own server. In order to let he rest of us just have fun at a casual game. While they can do common reacharounds or whatever on their secluded server.

Because the current state of the game (even apart from the technical issues) makes it often UNFUN for a rather casual player.

Are you trying to tell me that remembering various tile structures and their optimal run path, 30+ pallet locations per map, 30+ totem spawns per map, all strong loops and all weak loops isn't casual?

I think Kindred being basekit could be too much. You also see the gens that get repaired and maybe need to get finished. I think this would give survivors a massive boost. Pretty sure that killers will complain if suddenly every team is on semi-swf-levels.

But i think seeing the killers aura around the hook (16-24m) would be a good thing, to counter camping. Even though it kinda counters stealth killers because you can see in which direction they are going.

How are you supposed to do gens if you are hooked and camped to death? Oh, you meant the other survivors should do the gens, right? But what about the poor guy that's being camped and enjoying a staring contest with the killer? How does doing gens help him?

    It doesn't.

AH yes... in paragraph 6 when you bring up Otz.... he's like one of the biggest sluggers in the game.... really?

Tunneling and camping only provides reward when the survivors don't do their objective, if you tunnel one guy the most kills you should get are 2 because at 3 chases with one person where the one person can waste at least 40 seconds just by holding forward.

the one person on thats being is holding the killer at the hook.. 2mins till death which means at least 3 gens should be done...
