Chapter 21
So I feel like making a crazy bet. Now before people say I want more RE, no I don't because I hated the last chapter and just don't want anymore but I'm not here to hate on it. Just had to clear that up before someone says that.
So I think the new killer is gonna be a Resident Evil paragraph. I'm gonna choose Mr. X specifically. Here are my reasons why.
First off the comment Almo made about pallets. It sounds like whoever this killer is, will just demolish pallets. So Mr. X would fit that perfectly just as Nemesis did. And for the pickup animation comment he made, well we can't go much off that because any killer could have a unique pick up animation. They just now decided to do it with Nemesis and this next killer.
Next he can easily line up with a Legendary and Very Rare cosmetic. More than most RE monsters out there.
Next this is probably the only year they'll be able to do more RE since Capcom was open to collabs for their anniversary/this year so any other year they'll probably be a bit restrictive again.if they wanted to take FULL advantage of the license, their biggest license yet then it wouldn't be surprising.
Next the world RE is HUGE and has too many characters to leave it at just 1 killer. It makes most sense for this license to have possibly 2 killers because of the amount of iconic characters.
Next is that clearly Capcom hasn't dropped BHVR yet after the monstrous RE chapter because we have a new Nemesis skin coming out.
Now I'm done with that. Now I'm just gonna have a little fun here at the end and just guess what the Leatherface, PH, Nemesis, and new killer skins are.
For Nemesis I have 3 options.
1. on Fire
2. I couldn't find a picture of it but in RE3R the more the game progresses and the more you shoot him his garbage bag clothing stuff rips open a bit exposing like some pulsating bubbles. So that could be a simple little skin.
3. Obviously Classic Nemesis
Now for Pyramid Head I have 2 options
1. It could be original like the last 2 outfits
2. The Movie
Leatherface I have 2 options.
1. Pretty Lady
2. Reboot
Now I'd like to hear who you think the new killer is and what the licensed skins are.

The corrupted pyramid head skin we currently have I think was somewhat inspired by the movie. The helmet to some degree at least, looks similar to the movie, aside from the overall shape. I personally would like to see a pyramid head skin with a pointed/triangular base, rather than the current rectangular bases we have.
For Nemesis, I think it would be cool to include skins that have the minigun, and another that has the rocket launcher. Both of these are iconic to him. They wouldn't shoot anything of course, but I could see them being used for his basic attack.

I seriously doubt the next killer is going to be another RE character. It just wouldn't make sense. I think they would have made a huge deal out of having their very first licensed chapter with 2 killers releasing, especially if they were from RE and for the 5th anniversary, rather than releasing them in 2 separate chapters.

Maria would be cool but idk if it would make much sense. How human or real she is is debatable, I don't think we've had any survivors like that before.

I don't know anything about the silent hill games other then the main characters, so it was just a guess cause of how much people talk about her

I would not like to have another extension of the Resident Evil chapter to a Chapter 2 of it, since it would take away all the excitement of seeing another new franchise make its debut here.

Mr. X is cool but what would his power even be. He doesn't really run, He doesn't use weapons, He doesn't have a tentacle, would he have a stalk mechanic similar to Re resistance? Would his power be him grabbing the survivors and they instantly go into a dying state?
Also do you have a clip of Almo saying the pallet break thing?

I honestly don't think it's going to be Mr. X, maybe for later but I think the four frontrunners right now are probably Candyman, Springtrap, Chucky and Alien.

Near the ending Lisa starts saying that she is just like them and just realised now and the starts bleeding, dbd ingame's description also hints at this, saying that she's like the monsters roaming the hospital.

From memory, she was real, yes, but she had died I think long before the events of SH1. It might be referring to the fact that she, like the monsters, may also be alive as a result of the power of the town of Silent Hill hence being 'like the monsters'. Also, I don't think a character not being 'real' is a real argument for them to not be added. Maria would make a lot of sense. It's either her or James, but since we haven't seen opposite gender legendaries yet, I am assuming Maria. If it's anyone else, I'd be surprised seeing as other female character options would either be too niche or unfitting compared to Maria.
For reference, the other options would probably be: Cynthia(SH4) as Illiterate said though she is niche and had a minor appearance, Anna (Homecoming), Anne Cunningham (Downpour), Claudia (SH3 though wouldn't make much sense since she's the antagonist of the game), Dahlia(Same case as Claudia but SH1, I could see her Shattered Memories version fitting more, but that's a very specific choice), Eileen Galvin(SH4) and Angela(SH2)
Angela is probably the most plausible, but IIRC she's only 16 in the events of SH2 and is dead. It's a bit harder to justify a character aging when they're dead. I could also see Anne but one cop is enough lol. I could definitely see Eileen being added, but she is niche.

I think Chapter 21 being RE Part 2 has always been a stretch. If they really cared to bring multiple Resident Evil killers into the game, they would have chosen a killer that fits easier with multiple re killers.
Example: You can make Nemesis a legendary for Mr. X but you can't do the other way around necessarily (in the case of what Nemisis's power is, you can't)
Nemesis not having a power that makes legendary skins possible proves (at least in my opinion) that they only want one Resident Evil Killer in the game. If they wanted Mr. X and Nemesis, they would have made a power that allowed for the legendary skin to make sense. Besides, looking at a legendary skin vs a dlc, they make more money off the legendary skins. It makes no sense to put out another $5 paragraph or $8 chapter when they can make $15 off a single legendary/ultra rare cosmetic.

Look-See shouldn't have Doctor's Shock, actually that's the only one there is at the moment

Almo talking about the pallet breaking thing is an image around the place. Can't find it at the moment but he said it. Makes sense for another RE killer since most of them are very... Destructive. But Mr. X could definitely have a unique power. Looking at him simply it may not seem like it but he does do things. To me he'd be similar to Michael where he tiers up but the requirements are in instead chase the survivors for awhile instead of stalking and the rewards would be different. Like Michael has instadown and faster vaulting while Mr. X would have more destructive things to end up making him the most destructive killer. Like 1 new ability when you tier up + upgrades to his breaking speeds and stuff. Maybe even movement speed.

Depends on the company. Some want them to make sense and some don't care as much. Capcom for example. They would never make Mr. X a legendary skins because to them it makes 0 sense.

Going for Dracula. Was hinted in the prologue as was the alchemist (blight) before he came out. The survivor being unlicensed plays into that theory as there ain't really and out and out survivor to coincide with dracula.
Would laugh pretty hard it aint Candyman, Pennywise or Chucky for the 16th chapter running.

Its not all behaviours decision. Its Capcom's franchise. It doesn't make sense for them to just shove one of their most iconic enemies, the Nemesis into a legendary skin. While Capcom themselves has ended up treating Nemesis like rich scrap they wouldn't do that. Same with Mr. X or... Really any character in RE except survivors because they are not as hard.

I don't get why everyone thinks its Candyman or whatever or is so certain this specific chapter is Candyman when people have been thinking he is every chapter since an entire year ago. If it is Candyman than cool but everyone needs to chill. Anyways, I think Dracula would be an ion licensed chapter most likely.

Pretty much no one has been thinking Candyman was every chapter since a year. Why do some of you state this?
people expected him because of various legitimate hints for the 4th anniversary and after the movie got postponed everyone agreed the chapter wouldn’t come out until the movie actually releases (if the chapter was planned at all). And that’s why he is expected this or the next chapter: movie is about to get released.

Obviously I don't literally mean it. Don't know why you'd think that. But lining it up with a release hasn't really happened yet. Halloween, Texas, Freddy, Pig, Ghostie, SH, and RE have not lined up with any releases. Maybe Stranger Things has. I don't remember. But it hasn't happened yet so clinging onto that isn't really that good. While it could be true and I don't blame people for thinking it could be because it could very well be Candyman, I'm just confused why some people are so certain its Candyman and if it ends up being something else it'll be weird.

That’s literally an entire different statement to the one you did before though.
and that one i agree with. It never happened, even for stranger things it wasn’t released around the Season 3 release but some time later iirc. And people have speculated for IT when that remake movie was released.
for Candyman its still a different case because of those hints (Tony Todd‘s Tweets and Twitter following, voice acting for an unknown game etc)

That is true, it might not be completely off the table to have 2 Resident Evil dlcs. I just don't think they'd do it.
