Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Is anyone else taking a break?

After so much grinding (FUN!πŸ˜•) through the event and the blood hunt, I don't see much need to play DBD right now. In fact, I could see myself enjoying a nice long break. Anyone else?

I am until the the next double bp weekend or full time sbmm to take effect, whichever occurs sooner.

I don't want to test skill based matchmaking just to keep having it turned off. I want to see the full version implemented before I try it, hopefully with a good working system.

The grind seriously bores me away from the game. BP desperately needs an increase, especially for survivors, or perk tiers reworked or even better both of these.

I’m considering it. I’m back up to purple ranks and it’s become a sweatfest. Especially when red ranks get mixed in.

I took a break at the start of the year, from January until a month ago. Now I keep playing to complete some challenges but I can see myself taking another break pretty soon lol

how would you know the system is something that you want if you don't test it while its available to try out

It is something I want but I want it to be matching me with players of my skill, which is not high if I'm being honest. I don't want complete sweatfests that I barely have a chance of winning, which it becomes once I hit purple ranks and keep getting matched with red ranks, and I don't want survivors who only have 3 perk slots unlocked and have no idea what they are doing like in a previous sbmm test people spoke of.

I am in favour of sbmm but only in full working condition. To be honest though I have paid for the game as a customer and am not in employment for bhvr as most others here aren't. Will players get some sort of in game recompense for being unpaid game testers for bhvr and I don't mean some paltry 250k bp lol.

If you aren't testing it then you won't know what it would do, what would happen when its implemented, and you can't get a feel for it, it doesn't seem wise sit back on ideals and hope for the best while passing up an opportunity to see if so far your ideal system is coming along and providing the experience you hope it would. Including the opportunity to provide firsthand experience backed feedback to help improve the system which potentially helps the devs towards shape it into what you want / would enjoy.

If this is a system you believe would improve your experience that greatly I think it would be in your best interest to test it.

Yep. Bout to buy the new madden for the first time in 3-4 years. Used to be my main gm sure I will be rusty but I will all come back to me. This gm sucks anymore just needs a spark whether it be a new mode, mmr, or a grind reduction but just something.

Well it seems a waste of time getting a feel for it in a test when the next test could feel differently. I don't like tests or betas and alphas. I prefer a finished product. It's like when a game crashes on me twice I normally put it aside for quite a while, looking at you arkham city. I just prefer things in working order.

I understand what your saying though and I do thank you for a polite response, I have had quite a few people on this forum having a go for having a difference of opinion. I may give it a go over the next few days. Got to kill some time before tales of arise releases lol.

I just unlocked all the teachables for both sides for a second time and im done for a while.

Just realizing how much grind there still is left in order to actually start playing with perk combos even after unlocking everything makes me more interested in other games lol

Like jeezus it took almost 700 hours just to unlock all the perks, now i have to go through like 200 bloodwebs to actually use them?

Im good. I consider unlocking all teachables as "beating" dbd.

As someone who has played in every mmr test you arent missing anything. It is usually awful with rainbows everyone and some of the easiest games ever and then calms down after like 10 games on each killer.

If you play a lot of different ones like me it can be very easy lol.

And to the original posts question yeah I have been since the resident evil chapter came out. I have played a few days during the event but honestly feeling burnt out

    I missed the blood hunt

I also wass taking a break from the game due to me not knowing what to play (I want to play Trickster... but with the 2 matches I did play I doubt survivors are going to stay and play against me)
