4k no pip up nurse
I got a 4k with nurse, super quick game only 2 gens done and I got no pip up

You were efficient. Efficiency doesn’t really get you pips, nor does it make you de-pip. You’re supposed to “play with your food” in a sense and let survivors recover some bit to drag on the game and squeeze out as much bps, experience, etc. to at least pip. You know, give the survivors hope for escape only to crush it in front of them.

Its just really annoying, I'm consistently getting 3ks and 4ks and I'm not getting pip ups, I picked this game up a week and a half ago and its just been such a pain for me since other games its just be efficient as possible.

You just wasted a anniversary cake. It's no wonder that players don't use bloodpoint offerings when people like this Nurse ruin the game.

Don't slug from the get go... If you wanna rank up that is. Not saying how you should play, just saying if you wanna rank up.
Anyway survivors de-pip if all they do is gens and escape. I got 20k earlier and still de-pip as a survivor.
So slugging is not going to cut it, if you want to rank up anyway. You got to a have a longer match.

Ye and I work full time so I have to get as many games in as I can, plus with college starting up again I wanted to get as much time before I cant do anything at all

He did not ruin the game he played to win and he did that. Now if survivor think they will have an easy escape or some free pass because they use a cake that entirely their fault

How many hooks did you get? Usually you want to try to go for 10 to 12 hooks in order to get any progress. Camping a hook or tunneling usually won't help you much if you care about piping. Also, bring Survivor pudding. It will allow you to get 100% more progress in killer categories.

I don't like real long matches like 15+ minutes. But I don't like real short matches either 5- minutes. But yeah usually quick matches as a survivor or killer tend to result in a de-pip.

Oh yeah you need to make sure your chase last more then 5 sec too. Honestly i think this is the hardest thing to do if you give survivor too much time they slam those gen like its nothing

No problem. Trust me though, Piping isn't everything. Especially if you are going to be maining Nurse, you will have rough matches.
Keep your chin up, and if you get frustrated, cool off by playing survivor. If that still makes you heated, take a break and relax.

Unfortunately, Dbd isn’t meant to be a game played efficiently. Neither its mechanics nor its lore support or cater towards it (though that’s more a fault of design). Which is why tunneling, camping, slugging (less so), and gen rushing are looked so down on by much of the community. Since you just picked it up, this is something you got to know if you’re trying go up in rank. It can be annoying, but that’s how it is.

The Entity can be a bit moody. It wants you to really play with your food and marinate the survivors in suffering.
But no for real I've had this happen on matches with Plague where I down all four survivors with one corrupt purge and get an Entity Displeased lol

You ended the game so fast when someone brought cake it makes a person feel like they shouldn't have brought the cake. Happens enough times then people become reluctant about bringing cake. It isn't hard to just be oppressive and It isn't fun for others most of the time. Showem youre hanging dong and go for the 32k BP game.

You can pip with zero kills if u play along with rewarding emblem and u had 15k points which is barely enough for black pip 4k doesn't mean anything

If you're steamrolling them that hard, you can probably slow down to get more emblems without much risk.
