Distortion Buff idea

It's been talked throughout the forums that Distortion could use some buffs as it gets wasted for some abilities, like outside freddy's terror radius or vanity mirror myers.

I have an idea that would make it a lot more useful

If you're out of tokens, the perk still activates. You still show your aura to the killer, but your scratch marks still stay hidden for 6 seconds. You have a cooldown of 10 seconds before it activates again.
This would make it so the perk is still useful against certain abilities like freddy's aura ability and vanity mirrior myers without it going to waste.

The main reason I would want this though it to use it with diversion with the new scratch marks buff lmao

    I think the perk is just fine. If you are up against certain killers, certain perks tend to work better or worse than others. Like, Stakeout is not a bad perk if you play against a Doc with Distressing because you will always have tokens. Play against a Wraith though and you will have trouble getting them. Premonition is great counter to stealth killers, but it rather worthless against Huntress since she literally sings to you so you know where she is.

    And poor Freddy already has a lot going against him. 3 meta perks are almost hard counters to him (SC, Adren, and Unbreakable). Being able to eat up your Distortion tokens is all he's got man.

    incoming every freddy using aura perks now knowing their distortion would be worthless Kappa

    This perk is great as it.

    There are dozens of other perks that need way more help to just be useful.

    Freddy is getting reworked anyway.

    Besides, self-care and adrenaline hit freddy harder than any other killer. It's only fair that he gets to be stronger against a perk.
