Should I watch Hellraiser?
Never actually got around to it. I've heard the sequels are just utter trash but since it's almost definitely coming to DBD, should I?

I mean yeah you should, they are dated movies (imo) but not bad, the sequel is also a decent watch.
The lore behind it is pretty interesting and fits in with stuff like Event Horizon or so.
And also watch the original Candyman if you havent yet should we ever get that chapter, that movie is pretty awesome imo.

Personally, I don't care AT ALL about Hellraiser but, the full movie is funnily enough on YouTube for free so, you can watch it there. :)

Only the first one, I consider that the only good one. Mind you I stopped following the movies after the third as they were getting worse.

It's worth a watch, as it's very much a part of classic horror - alongside other well-known movies as far back as "Dracula", "Them", "The Blob, and up to more modern movies like "Scream", "Saw" and "Get Out". It's a good reflection on what was expected from horror of the time, and whilst the movies lacked in some areas, the creative designs and deaths are still fun to watch today (if not quite as scary by modern standards).

I think the second is a decent continuation with some important added facts about the lore "IT IS NOT THE HAND THAT SUMMONS US, IT IS DESIRE" and the special effects are pretty good with the guy on the matress

It started to get really weird though and something did not click with me. Normally I'm easily pleased with horror too. Maybe I should rewatch the second one in case I forgot about what happened in it.

Sure- better to understand why Pinhead is coming to DBD and to get an idea for what his power and/or perks will be. Just watch the first though, lots of people say that the sequels are bad.

The first one is best, but I liked the second one too.
