What was your first game like?
Well this was mine,
It was towards the end of the Silent Hill release and a week before the 4th year anniversary event. I was like, "What am I getting my self into?! My first match I played as survivor Bill. I wasn't about to try killer my 1st game lol! So I get into a match. Literally with one perk, and it was Left Behind. My reasoning was, "being the last survivor sounds fun! I'm gonna try being the last survivor and find this hatch!"
So I get into my first match and luck would just have it, it was executioner and on the silent hill map. And I was like, I've never played silent hill, no idea who this guy is with a Rubiks Cube on his head, and I'm running around some school with sirens?! I mean I played the tutorial so I knew I had to work on these generators that were just randomly placed through the map and somehow open an exit gate cause reasons!
Kind of knew I had to help other survivors but didn't really know how. Honestly I thought the game was a free for all and just had to survive as long as I can. Well once we're in the match I'm freaking out just crouch walking everywhere trying to be sneaky. I see the executioner after a while and just start springing away interacting with everything I can. Making all kind of noise not really realizing it... And eventually he find me, puts me into dying state... puts me on a hook... and I notice I can try escaping. And I'm like... hmm 🧐 Maybe I should try self unhooking once to see what happens.
Well all I did was progress this bar that I assumed was some sort of health bar indicating how long I had to live or something. Pretty soon I get put into second stage hook just in time to be saved by another survivor! I decide I'm gonna follow around the guy who saved me cause I'm like, "You seem nice lets work together!"
Than we bump into the executioner and long story short I get die and I'm like... This game sucks!
Now I love this game and stream it when ever I can mostly for fun with my 18 followers on Twitch lol 😅
But yes this was my first experience what was yours?

Really? Your first game was just some great orgasm?! Did you play as survivor or killer?

I booted up the game for the first time on December 25th, 2018, roughly 2 weeks after Legion's release.
I think my first game as a survivor was on Azarov's Resting Place against a Huntress, but that could've been my second, third, maybe fourth game. It is hard to know. All I can say for sure is: I was an innocent baby Claudette, scared and confused about what was going on.
My first game as a killer was with Old Freddy on Torment Creek. That was the match that made me fall in love with not only Old Freddy's power, but also with the game itself.
My very first trials are now memories of a better time, back when DBD provided me with an immeasurable level of enjoyment, that no other game could. Sad to think that it is all gone now.

my first game was wraith in 2020 march. It was pretty much the same way I play wraith now. Find someone, uncloak, hit, cloak. It was my 4th game that was hell.

Well, it took me a few games to figure out how to figure out how to fast vault, so that should give you an idea.

- July 2016
- Poor little scared Dwight
- Didn't know what a skill check was, everybody blew up generators constantly
- Heartbeat = hide at all costs
- Double pallets and infinite windows everywhere but nobody knew how to use them effectively so it didn't matter
Those were the good old days

I was playing Wraith on father campbell's chapel right around clown's release. I remember wondering what all this orange scratch mark ######### was and where the survivors kept going to. Constantly lost track of them. Got 2-3 hits, no hooks, and got a t-bag salute at the exit gate

Back to release time!
Not the first game ... but one of my first ones: Rank 20 Level 5 Jake that was randomly dispatched in this red rank lobby by the Entity God.
I was so scared and had no idea about the real power of the chainsaw.
I also remember that the pizza Dwights tried taking care of me ... but the outcome of this game against a red rank HillBilly was D E A T H 😂
We used to see ranks from everyone in public matches back in the day oOo

hard to remember my exact first but i do remember 2 games, both as a baby trapper
one was on lery's, all i remember for that one is a 3 man hook bodyblock and not knowing what to do about it
the other was on ironworks, and that match stretched on for a good 30 minutes because the survivors did literally nothing but hide. no gens touched, no running, just absolute immersion.

I forgot who I played as, but it was days after the spirit release, and it was on Suffocation Pit.
I distinctly remember me spawning in with a Bill, the two of us slowly orienting ourselves, finding a pallet, and the Bill promptly throwing it down, almost immediately followed by the TR kicking in. I can’t recall the result of the match either, I just know it was a Pig.
For some reason, there were so many pigs when I started playing. The occasional spirit because of her release, but the vast majority of my rank 20 to 15 adversaries were Pigs.

My first game, I never realised I had to tweak the ini file to change resolution so my skill checks were not registering and failing all the time. Someone wrote on my steam profile I was the worst teammate ever lol. It was my very first game. Did they think I would be a sudden godlike player just by watching a few YouTube videos before purchasing?
So my very first game I got hate mail lol. This was around three years ago, give or take a few months.

My first real match was on December 25th, 2019. (I tried the game a couple days earlier. But I didn't play the whole match. I took over mid-way thorugh. I spent 90% of the match in a locker against a Huntress.)
The killer was Spirit. The map was Lerys. I did half a generator that match. Spent most of the match getting lost. Every time I found the exit, I tried remembering what it was. Just to give you an idea of HOW confused I was, I had NO CLUE there were two exit gates. Eventually went down at the exit gate, and died on what I think was my second hook. But I was PROUD of doing half a generator.
My first killer game was Spirit, about 5 minutes later. It was on Red Forest, and let's just say I didn't know what phasing did, and I kept trying to go through walls. I didn't get a single hit.
The ONLY reason I didn't say "This game sucks, I quit forever." is because a few days later my cousin got the game for Switch (which is where I was playing, because my internet was trash at the time, and I didn't want to pay for PSN on crappy internet) and invited me to a game. It helped that she played Bill with Borrowed Time.

April 2018.
It was awful and the reason I hate Claudette's.

I can only remember two of them, but not sure which came first...
I played Nurse when I first got the game. It was laggy and I didn't know how to play as The Nurse - I just knew I had to try and kill people. I ended up killing no one and in the chat, someone said something like "Let me guess first time playing?"
I also remember playing Survivor and I didn't know you aren't supposed to struggle on the hook so I killed myself xD;
