I sure hope Pinhead isn't a copy and paste job
I want BHVR to start thinking outside the box again when it comes to designing killers. Michael Myers needing to stalk his prey was a great design choice as it makes sense for that character. Freddy having to pull people into the dream world was a great design choice until they had a change of heart😕. But damn near every killer has been a copy and paste version of someone else already in the game.
I don't know if the coding allows them to think outside the box, but we've had three range killers in a row: Pyramid Head, Trickster, and now Nemesis (it's sad just how similar Nemesis and Pyramid Head are). As much as I would love an original concept, I highly doubt it's going to happen. I can easily see the chains for Pinhead being used as yet another range attack in the same vein as Pyramid Head (again). Hopefully we see something that we haven't seen before, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

There will be an official reveal within the next day or so as the ptb goes live next Tuesday, but practically every hint points to hellraiser. If it's not then the devs put forth a ridiculous amount of effort for nothing more than a ruse.

I am aware of this, but these all seem like red herrings or just absolute bait. The type of people carrying on about this are also the type who scream about 'cAnDyMaN iS cOmInG tO dEaD bY dAyLiGhT!' seventy bloody times a year.

I always kind of saw him as a much improved Legion, but I can definitely see the resemblance to Billy.

If it's Pinhead I can't imaigine him being anything than a flavor of a ranged power with his chains and having cosmetically different PH cages.

And that's exactly what I'm afraid of. I'm afraid of him being just another Pyramid Head. Minus the cages that's exactly what Nemesis already is. Pinhead literally has hell at his disposal, and as such I would expect something a bit more inventive. Here's hoping.🤞

Uhm . . . but Nemesis' whip only hits straight . . . and he has the zombie AI's and came with completely different perks than Pyramid Head. Their perk sets they came with are nothing alike and none of their powers are anything like Trickster's . . . ?
Like it or not there are only so many types of killers you can make and so many perks. Sometimes there is an intersection. Don't like it? Don't buy the DLC.

Doesnt matter who the killer will be, but what kind of power it get. And yes, dont have high hopes for this

I just mean, Billy is locking into a sprint in which he downs full health survs with low mobility.
Blight is basically the same, just higher mobility and no full health downs.
