Devs, PLEASE fix Blights collision during rush. He desperately needs it.
I have never seen a more inconsistent killer, the rate at which you can bump into things and simply slide right off as if you were covered in butter is ridiculous. This isn't a small non issue, this is a tremendous issue that can lose you games. Never mind that you are somehow expected to memorize EVERY SINGLE collision in the game to know what you apparently are allowed to collide with or not, some of them aren't even consistent like Killer Shack. Sometimes you hit and sometimes you slide right off.
It's inexcusable and it is an absolute tragedy because he is SO CLOSE to being perfect, the Devs made him feel great on console and he has an incredibly high skill ceiling while also being incredibly fun. It's this one major issue that holds him back from being in the top 3 killers in terms of pure fun and skill.
If any Developers read this, PLEASE update and fix Blights collision. Sliding off solid objects you directly run into and losing multiple downs/gens because of this throughout the match is not fun and is only frustrating.
Please fix him, it's this close to being wonderful and no one who plays him wants him to stay this way. His power is simply inconsistent, it just does not work sometimes.

He really does.

My favorite one is that silo on Torment Creek. It has no collision at all, you just slide inside it until fatigue. Incredible funny.

Even with his collision issues he is still arguably the 3rd, even 2nd, best killer in the game. I wouldn't say he needs it- it'd be nice, but with his current strength not needed.

I don't care how strong he is, if he isn't working properly he needs to be fixed. If he's not stronger than Nurse, he is fine balance wise. Do not use a killers strength to determine whether or not if they need to function properly, thank you very much.

Personally I think the priority should go to bugs that have existed for over 2 years, such as the sound bugs or the bugs with Nurse's power. I'd imagine that these issues would be more pressing due to their age.
However, don't create a thread on a public forum where people may give opinions before attempting to police those opinions, thank you very much.

He kinda does on Console.
You already can't use him to his full potential.

Good news, you can ask for both. Besides, since Nurse is the best Killer, obviously bugs involving her don't matter, right? Smh

Console needs more than just blight fixes- the recent update to him apparently made him substantially better to control and play as in general, however the negative 2 fps kinda holds it back. Something tells me, similar to nurse, that he will be substantially better for those platforms when you can actually move at a stable framerate and not freeze for pressing a button.

Blight plays fine on console, his changes a few months back enable flicks like PC players can do, he is just much harder to learn. Regardless his collision is beyond broken and must be fixed.

Yes please, fix this while removing Z-flicks and he'll be the perfect killer. <3

Actually, with her bugs Nurse is arguably not the best killer, that honour would go to Spirit but she's bugged right now as well. So, I take back my first statement, since Blight is arguably the best killer in the game.
In theory, Nurse is the best, then Spirit. Unfortunately, since the game removes your entire power in 90% of games and leaves you as a 96% killer without any power, she's not exactly top tier factoring in bugs.
Try again

This is just not true, but go ahead and think this lol.

Only speaking from my personal experience of playing them within the past month :)
Nurse loses her entire power most games, Spirit currently cannot hear footsteps, and Blight's collision is mostly functional even if it could use some tweaks. Again, my experience.
Another miss

While technically correct, his changes did help massively, you still can't flick as well as you could on PC. During his Slam, you can't adjust as fast.
Regardless, you wouldn't get the Slam if you slid.

I don't really think the slides need to be removed, they just need to be consistent... some vehicles on auto havens you can bounce off of and then others you can't slide even when trying... I LOVE!!! sliding around shack and being able to play it completely different then any other killer, the amount of fun is immessurable...
this actually is a wierd moment for me atm because I can actually say the Ormand is probably the most consistent map when it comes to bouncing next to the macmillian maps.
No other character can provide the sort of experience that Blight has for me... even when I have a four man escape.

Looking down will keep the sliding you enjoy I believe, but regardless slamming point blank directly into a solid object only to slide off of it is just so lame. I just want SOME fixes at least, like the cars, certain rocks, trees, etc

I just want some consistency.... like on Ormand it's consistent it's pretty consistent... the snow piles I know I can't bounce of so I can plan on just sliding straight to the survivor and landing a hit... if theres collision on all of them I have to go through 3 if not 5 bounces.
I just don't want those areas feeling like a section of lery's if ya know what I mean? right now he feel's really good, especially if you watch Lilith Omen, he can open you up to the sliding and how it can actually help.

I can understand some not getting collision, but thinks like Shack, certain rocks, trees, tree stumps, cars, fences, etc randomly sliding is a big problem. Snow piles, 3 way divided trees, etc not having collision would be fine.

yeah I understand what you're saying... that's why I say the consistency needs to be better because I have had moments where I went to bounce off the pre-school and slid all the way to the white fence..

Just so you know this is NOT a problem with Blight, this is a problem with the objects themselves, since blights bounce is based off if you can smack the 'wall' with your weapon, which is why if you look up or down it changes what he can bounce on, the problem is some of the objects i guess don't have the correct collision detection, Blight just makes the miscreated objects obvious, so the devs have to fix every object that has this problem and not Blight. (Info taken from former Dev Mclean who created and fixed Blight)

Yes I do understand how Blight works and was sad when I heard that Mclean was leaving... some want collision on all objects so he can bounce off of everything.... I do not, I just want consistency on objects without collision.... areas like the 8 snow piles on Ormand are great because I know I can still rush straight on through without bouncing off anything and maybe landing a hit as well, if they all had collision he'd have that struggling feeling of being on Lery's at least 3 times a game and lose some of the fun factor.
This really comes down too Bump Logic and Consistency.
