I'm just curious as to why I am seeing this killer so often?
I'm also noticing a sudden upturn of all-seeing being used in most matches.
As someone who doesn't main wraith myself (Oni & Clown) I'm just wondering, why??
Reminds me of constantly seeing Freddie before the nerf!

You probably have low MMR, therefore you are going against the weakest killers in the game.

He's by far the most popular killer right now as an easy & rewarding character

He's one of the 3 original killers, power is easy to understand, and not being able to be seen is a plus for some people. Is wraith using his strong addons different from any other killer using their strong addons?

Wraith is the current BALANCE of what a killer should be imo. He can be played at a high level without add-on, has decent mobility, and can end chases quickly. We need more killers to be balanced like that. He'll still get stomped by swf or even solos with the experience tho.

Free, powerful and easy to use killer. Nothing more to it. I don't like the term "easy mode" on this game but he's the closest that comes to it.

He's for the most part simple and also strong killer, finally. Ofc people will play him a lot when he was a joke for years now.
And no matter how limited he is overall anyway, survivors still call him no brain, free wins, unfair, OP, needs to be nerfed killer just because he's now one of the most played ones.
But that happens to every killer who becomes popular no matter what his gameplay is.

He's not. They over tuned him and he's imo one of the strongest killers in the game for how easy it is to play him.

Well, that just isn't correct, as I'm certain I have a very high MMR.
Saying he is a weak killer.......I believe you are in the 5% who would think that, he isn't OP, but certainly not weak.
The part about the strong add ons, I feel like maybe his add ons maybe don't seem that well balanced since he got the windstorm built into base kit, would say maybe the numbers on some of them could be changed.
Also not sure if this is the reason why is suddenly more popular, to me, it just feels like a lot of Spirit and Freddie mains moved over to Wraith. Maybe I'm wrong

Tuff. He is free, easy and strong. But man he is one of the most annoying killers to face in this game... Especially if they play him in a certain way

Ever since Wraith received a buff to his speed when cloaked, he has become one of the more popular Killers to use, especially for newer players. And using his All-Seeing blood add-on is crazy strong considering how fast he is. Michael Myers has something like that in scratched mirror, but he moves slower than survivors.

He is a free OG killer, who's power is very simple but also very effective especially with add-ons.

- Once you buy the game, he's free to play. (That sounds so weird but is technically true.)
- Easy to get into, moreso than the icon of the game.
- Stronger than ever before.
- Going faster than the regular Killer speed whenever you want to is quite the nice feeling.
- The "All Seeing" Add-ons are a huge help right now for those who don't generally know where to go or who to find where.
- Despite Teachables being terrible, he's a solid first pick since his simplistic gameplay allows for the general Perks to be pretty solid choices on him. (Hex: No One Escapes Death (The M1's), Bitter Murmur (The cloaked speed), Sloppy Butcher (The M1's)).
Plus you can ring a cool bell.

it is the same as freddy. High mobility and simple chases. Wraith just happens to be flexible/simple to play right now.

He's basically the new Freddy. Simple and easy to play killer who is quite strong. He's not broken but I expect he'll likely see some of his addons nerfed in the future.

95% of killers aren't balanced then. Only nurse & Spirit stomp the best of the best and even they still get stomped lol
