Should the devs jump the next chapter to fix some core issues with the game?
Hello, I don't usually rant towards the devs but this update just proves me there are a lot of stuff that need to be attended, and I am going to keep this as straight forward as possible.
Secondary objectives
we really need something to slow down the game, since tanatofobia and hex:ruin just aren't enough to slow down the game.
End game
The end game needs to be reworked and was confirmed by the devs that is being worked on, however there is no news regarding this
Perks rework
The following perks: decisive strike, left behind, hope, undying light, surveillance, Spies From The Shadows all need a rework
Freddy rework
It was stated by Mclean that freddy is getting reworked, but is being delayed for a unknown time, not releasing this year
Optimization update
Both pc and console players both need this, for better performance
Rework the scripts
Something seems odd where in every update something gets fixed, but on the other hand 2 things get broken, some people in the community keep suggesting this is due to the spaghetti code the game uses, which I believe should be reworked on.
Bloodwebs rework
Each chapter brings at least 6 new perks and each costs a lot of grinding to obtain, this for a regular player doesn't seem much, but for a new player it seems impossible, and I believe we can have better bloodwebs, either by decreasing the costs of every item, or by reducing the teachable perks by some levels.
More maps
Old realms really need to be receiving more maps, I am in favour of new realms, but then older realms don't get new maps and we are stuck of knowing which map we are getting exactly with the offerings.
I am a huge fan of this game and want it to remain stable for many years but we need some time out to fix this issues, even if it costs skipping 1 chapter.

Well they brought out a brown map offering for coldwind so that's a step in the right direction have one lv of offering for multiple maps so you know which one your getting and not a random of a specified typeThatbrownmonster said:Hello, I don't usually rant towards the devs but this update just proves me there are a lot of stuff that need to be attended, and I am going to keep this as straight forward as possible.

It's called mid-chapter patch

Nope. New DLCs are what keep me playing because for the most part the game is fine. Whatever important thing they need to fix can be fixed in the mid chapter patch.

I am pretty sure they are aware of everything they mention to us. Patience is key. And I prefer new dlc, it hypes me up.0

U seem to be on drugs tho, u need new content to keep playing? Pretty delusional if u ask me. I would take a any point mentioned above for the cost of delaying a new DLCsteezo_de said:Nope. I'd prefer them taking their time to fix some of the issues honestly. Hard for me to be hyped about new DLC when the game either crashes, plays like a PowerPoint presentation, or sounds like a certain YouTuber's videos when someone gets hooked.0

OR:
Patch the issues AND put out new content....
Like every game that ever existed.

For console, the framerate is the biggest issue.
Perks that are seldom or outright never used (Adapt Trophies/Achievements and new Players using em don't count) need a HARD look & rework for. I LOVE this game and the Perks are one of the biggest reasons why. I love customizing a loadout/build and trying out new combinations...but when a large chunk are honestly worthless, like not even meme/weird/fun use...that's a problem.
Killer's Perks not being visible until EVERY Survivor has exited the Match, either killed or escaped. There is no reason for a potential SWF to call out what Perks a Killer is using and to counter it for that. Early Kills or endgame Perks are completely nullified if person A informs the teammates they have Blood Warden and a Downed Survivor DCs to let the othera escape via the Exit Gates... Such as:

There are def other issues but these are some of the bigger ones imo0 -
Almost everything on your list is being worked on as you already know.
