PS4 lag has returned
Ever since the latest hotfix, my game has been having FPS drops for survivor again and it occurs at random but it's pretty bad. I haven't played killer since the hotfix so I wouldn't know if it is happening on that side but this is getting ridiculous now that I can barely play a game with consistent frames. I was wondering if anybody else has been experiencing this lag over the past few days?

Yes, I'm also still experiencing it, but it was never fixed for me. It's been better, but still constant lagging/freezing/dropping frames. Whatever you want to call it. It's probably the best we are going to get.

Mine was fine until recently. I am experiencing killers and survivors elastic banding around the map. Has anyone else seen this?
I thought maybe it was my connection but other games are playing just fine.

The game for me was mostly fine after the initial patch, the only thing that lagged my game was dead hard but now ever since the hotfix the game has returned to being laggy.

I know what you mean, this has been happening to me every few games and it throws me off massively.

Its horrendous as survivor on my ps4 pro, killer feels ok though. Managed a 1k on RPD with Oni 😅

Yup, that hotfix ruined whatever little performance fix we had from the mid-chapter patch.

Oh okay, glad I am not the only one then ^^" its so odd seeing the killer walk away, have them snap back, but then disappeared instantly. Its been giving me jump scares.

The lag/screen freezes are SO awful.
Everytime a hook/unhook,Dead Hard etc. happens,my game freezes for like 2 seconds and then i'm suddenly somewhere else.
It's really game ruining and makes Dead Hard even more frustrating to go against.Can't even bait it out anymore ☺

Like others mentioned, I don't think the freezes ever stopped. It just got a little better and it depends on some factors like perks, killer powers etc.
I can have an alright games and horrid ones in one session.

yup, for me its just very random
sometimes when i get chased i drop frames for multiple seconds and it causes me to get hit. literally almost died because of it, multiple times.

Good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this and I hope the devs start prioritizing optimization over other things but I don't think that is likely to happen anytime soon. :/

As survivor, it terrible a few hours after hotfix then ran as smoothly as I remembered it. About a day or so ago, I have gotten some spikes again.
For killer, it's teleporting me again like this (near the end):

Trust me its not much better on PC right now.
Idk what happened but the hotfix seems to have undone whatever they did last patch to fix performance.
