Unhooking in the killers face?
I have survivors do it all the time to me. I'll hooks someone go to walk away and boon withing 3 seconds they are unhooked or even ill hook them and there's a survivor right there unhooking the second I've hooked them. I took a 2 year break and it wasn't ans this wasn't as much off a big thing then but now it happens all the time

Everything is faster. Kills are faster, gens are faster even average unhooking time is faster now

There are lots of bad players in Dbd these days. There are also lots of toxic bullies who like to mess with their teammates. Just look at it as them making the match easier for you. If you want to be nice, you can just slug the unhooked and go after the unhooker, but you don't have to. Personally, I'll slug and tunnel the crap out of the unhooker for doing that.

I do normally go after the unhooker or just slug the poor guy getting farmed. I am starting to feel as if that is just making the problem worst to be honest. It feels like they are doing it think they will be fine because I have to go after the unhooker and its more or less a free save

This is why 10% of Unhook score should be for the act, and the 90% should be for successfully completing a safe hook.
Safe hook score should be held off if BT activates on the survivor, up until they escape the chase, if they dont, the sandbagger gets scraps for BP.
Endgame unhooks stay the same tho, there's not much to be done at that point of the match.

I mean, they dont take away bloodpoints from your account and ranks mean literally nothing, so there is no penalty.

Yea, sometimes, especially if the farmer is really good, I'll rehook the farmed survivor out of spite because I know the farmer is expecting me to play by their rules. Just look at it by a case by case basis. For me, if it's down to 2 gens, then there is no mercy and I'll take any hook I can get.

I mean running back to hook is how I get my BBQ stack rolling so it really doesn't offend me.

Sometimes you kinda have to if the killer is camping or hook proxy in hopes of doing a one for one, I'd rather give my teammate a chance rather than not giving them one to begin with, even if they get farmed. In the endgame, you kinda have to rush hooks as well since the killer has nothing better to do other than camp.

when all this mmr stuff rolls around they said bp bonuses on resets are going to be rank based so they will mean something

It happens to me all the time ill identify there good looper and he's the one unhooking. 2 gens is my rule as well sorry if i tunnel you but someone has to go.

Thats different im talking i hook 3 seconds later they unhooked or ill hook and some is right there trying to unhook before I even walk away. Like ouch my in game pride lol

Yeah it's just the new wave of players. They make simple mistakes, but at the same time they may not fully understand how the game works or the perks.

Some of them aren't tho before the mmr hidden rank it would be reds and purples doing it. Now that I think of it they were probably trying to bully me seen as im green rank

The only time I unhook someone in the Killer's face is if the Killer is camping or if we're the only two Survivors left. I always use BT and it works out the majority of the time.
As a Killer, I'll hook someone and turn to leave and they'll get unhooked immediately. I find that...so rude? I wasn't going to camp and I didn't even get a chance to leave before they unhooked them. I always go after the unhooker in that instance. Sometimes they were a SWF and had BT and sometimes they weren't.

Tunneling buff when? All this would do is make BT even more common than it already is, and make perks like Deliverance even worse than it already is.

I will unhook in front of the killer in case the survivor is about to be in the second stage and the killer is refusing to go away. But only if i have Borrowed Time.
