Auric Cells Price Increased!
Hello, I noticed that the auric cells price in Argentina has changed!
This is fair for the people that changes steam region just to buy them for cheap, but it's not fair for who like me lives in Argentina.
500 ac - 68 ARS -> 167 ARS.
1100 ac - 136 ARS -> 334 ARS
2250 ac - 272 ARS -> 669 ARS
As you can see the price is doubled or even more. For the average salary this is quite a bit of money.

The skins in this game are overpriced if that's what you were buying cells for. Still sucks they doubled in price.

The 2250 price is almost 2,5 times more then it used to be, holy :O
I certainly wouldn't buy ANY cells after that tbh.
And there is also no bonus to the 2250 cells pack too, since 2x the 1100 cell pack is almost the same as the 2250. You pay 1 ARS extra for the 50 cells in that pack.

I guess it's to standardise price?

Could be, but why don't you give a heads up towards the people for that. I mean, doubling the price out of nowhere when it's years the same price is just... not costumer friendly imo.

I know it's not entirely comparable, different economies and such. But in GBP, the 500 ac works out roughly equivalent to 540 ARS, and in USD it's 485 ARS.
While it may not be strictly fair for Argentinians, they were likely making barely any profit at all from the old prices once you factor in fees and exchange.

As an argentinian, it was to standarize... I am not saying it's fair nor cool but you should thank our government... Other countries have been very kind in making prices cheaper for Argentina due to the state we are now but unfortunately, it's not their fault but our governments.

They may be making less but the people in those countries also make less. Games typically sell for less in poorer countries. Its better to make some money than none. At the end of the day also these are digital currencies and skins anyways aside for the licensed stuff. BHVR is without a doubt far exceeding their overhead in the countries where they got the most players.

Comparing against average monthly salary after tax (taking £1900 for GB and 45200 for arg based off a quick google) puts those prices at:
500 AC = 1/270th monthly income, £7.02 eq. purchasing power
1100 AC = 1/135th monthly income, £14.04 eq. purchasing power
2250 AC = 1/68th monthly income, £28.12 eq. purchasing power
That does seem quite steep!

I noticed that also the dlcs price are incresed. All these changes without a proper notification from the devs...

It's not worth it.

In Argentina the average salary is 200 usd. IT'S NOT WORTH IT! You also have to pay 65% taxes! IT'S NOT WORTH IT

200% increase without notice? they lost a customer.

65%? I see 35% as the highest rate. 167 ARS is also about 1.72 USD, so around 1% of the average salary.
EDIT: To be clear, I don't think ACs are worth it anyway, but your data is just not compatible with the information I see.

Do you usually get notifications from businesses when they change their prices in your country? This is the norm in mine, prices go up and you find out when you go to buy something.

Ah, my bad, I thought you meant income tax. Yes, that's definitely a lot.

Yes! netflix, cell companys, etc..
they always notify you at least one month before

That's different, you have a contract with them, with regular payments. You don't have to pay BHVR regularly to keep playing DbD, you just make the initial game purchase and that's it.
