Remove DC penalty for Killers

A Killer DCing vs a Survivor DCing are fundamentally different things. When you're playing survivor, you have a quick way to get out of a frustrating match where your team is made of potatoes: You let yourself die on first hook, and then boom, you don't have to deal with the frustration anymore. A killer doesn't have the same option: If he's getting his butt kicked by all four survivors, he has no control on how long the match will last nor how long he has to stay in the same game without DCing. Furthermore, a survivor who DCs penalizes the whole team for the rest of the game, whereas a killer DC just means the survivors get easy bloodpoints and the ability to instantly requeue into a new lobby.

I can understand the idea of "tough it out" if you're getting bodied in a PVP game, but ultimately, a survivor getting tunnelled off of hook has to deal with maybe 3 or 4 minutes of frustration, where as a killer's entire game can be frustrating. And at the end of the day, isn't the point of playing a game to have fun? Survivors have a quick out of matches they're being stomped in- killers should too, without penalty.

Wair at the doors, thats gonna be quick.

DC as killer is the same than survivors : it's an over reaction over frustration.

When I play survivor, I would still like to play out games to completion rather than having killers constantly rage-quit because they can do so for free.

Even though ranks don't mean much, I still like to reach rank 1 between each rank reset and it would be much harder than it can be sometimes if killers are also just leaving games early.

Do the opposite, IMO. Killers should have quickly stacking penalties.

Just don’t DC. It should be that simple.

Except... no? Have you ever seen what happens when a killer AFKs? It just turns into survivors opening chests, and gathering around the killer to point at them. Meanwhile, you can't queue back up as a killer, and you're stuck sitting there until the survivors get bored; where as a survivor who gets frustrated can just die on first hook, then instantly queue back up.

At the end of the day, its another asymmetrical game mechanic- Maybe if killers could open the door at any point of the game, but that would open a whole host of issues lmao.

After the abuses during the prolonged absence of the dc penalties around Nemmy's patches, most of us were glad to see it back.

But no fight it out or take the matchmaking lock. Practice lunges. Break some doors. Eat a sammich. Poop out said sammich.

But you are stuck there because you committed to playing the match in the first place. If you really want to skip the match but don't want to DC then going AFK is the best option
