Couldn't they have waited for August 18 to come to announce this?

All they did was trash all the hype for Pinhead. If they waited for Wednesday to make the announcement, then people would have probably been much less affected, not to the point where Pinhead hype diminishes.

    Bhvr sure did "raise hell" with the Stranger Things announcement. Everyone locked onto their socials today expecting a new chapter announcement but instead we got a chapter removal announcement.

    Timing definitely not great but definitely fits BHVR. 😂

    presumably everyone will drop it tomorrow to gush about the new content / complain about the new bugs, but who knows if that strat's gonna actually pay off. i don't think there ever would've been a good time to tell us, it's awful news.

    Not exactly how hype trains work, though.

    It's a slow build that at the point of the reveal, hits the climax. Then it drops down. Now with this stinker, the climax can never be as high as it would've been.

    I don't think it's good to announce the removal of a license the day a new one is revealed.

    Like, people are speaking now about Stranger Things, and when the new Killer will be revealed, everyone will speak about it. But if we had the announcements in the same time... It'd be messy.

    Imo, it would make me less excited for the speculated Hellraiser Chapter, because this announcement serves as a reminder that any license content can be taken away and/or it's not safe.


    It would make me more cautious in buying the chapter. Sure the first year or two it may stick around but what if it drops in popularity or etc? It could potentially go the same way as the ST situation.
