I'm looking forward to Pinhead, though I will laugh out of sheer confused bemusement if it turns out to be FNAF. I mean this forum would come UNGLUED.
I wonder about the timing of these things. I wonder how much of a calculated move it was to slip in the Stranger Things news on the eve of something potentially very positive. Pretty shrewd, I have to admit. So I guess, while I'm still not feeling very happy about THAT development, I'll be just as curious as everyone else to log in tomorrow and see what's next. Gotta move on.

I believe a Stranger Things Sale was leaked 3 weeks ago, which was named in the code "Stranger Things Sunset Sale" (source : @DBDLeaks on twitter)
The "Sunset" to me implies this has been planned for some time.

I have been wondering what would happen here if EVERYONE was wrong and it was a licensed killer no one had even considered.
That being said, I’m curious how they’ll portray Pinhead.

Makes sense. They’ve probably been in negotiations about renewing the license for a while and it eventually became clear that it just wasn’t going to happen. Curious about the reason why though.

Nah this is only for a 3-month thing, I'm playing nothing but Demo for killer (I'll play Pinhead when he comes out, if he's interesting) for 3 months straight to pay a tribute to the big guy. I'm switching back to Blight by November 17th.

Not particularly excited for tomorrow as I'm a console gamer so I can't play on the PTB, but I am excited about the day after tomorrow where I get new Steve skins because of the sale if that counts towards anything.

You're the second person to say that today. Thank you. It really does mean a lot to me. A lot of the posts I used to make went completely ignored, no votes or quotes, and it would sometimes be frustrating because I was really trying to add some decent insight to various conversations. But some of you started responding, and always had interesting things to say. I enjoyed talking to you guys. Even so I figured that once I got my temporary ban I'd be quickly forgotten. The fact that I wasn't (or at least am remembered now that I've returned) feels really nice. I appreciate that.

Without Candyman and even more so with what happened this day, Pinhead would not surprise me much, according to the game system, we would not win a killer, we would be replacing him.

I've never seen the Hellraiser movies, so I'm not emotionally invested in it. Though wasn't it disclosed that the new killer would have a Legendary Skin set available? How would that play into Hellraiser? I've only ever seen him in the same outfit - long black trench coat.
If it were Springtrap we could expect to see Legendary skins for Chika, Bonny, Freddy, and Foxy.
Maybe I'm biased, but I'm really hoping it's Springtrap

Similar to being a different animatronic if it were a fnaf killer Pinhead could have a legendary skin as one of the other cenobites

Hellraiser is rooted in mysticism, excess, and the combination of punishment and pleasure. Pinhead is essentially a demonic wizard with a taste for the machinations of the flesh. It would be very interesting to see how that could be made to work within the practical confines of a game like this. He's definitely capable of having a ranged attack, but more like a Freddy dream world kind of range, not a direct "let me throw this at you" kind of thing.
I think this as well. I would dig a Chatterer skin.

Know it's not their fault, but I hate having things removed. I'm using the map every match possible till then.

I'm less enthusiastic getting into another licensed DLC after the Stranger Things situation. I'm still interested to see how it will look but I am not sure about a purchase.

Deathslinger but with "Chained" status effect that makes you vulnerable to his real attack which is also just a chain but this time it does damage

Wouldn't really say I'm hyped. The Hellraiser movies sucked in my opinion. Pinhead could be an interesting killer if they give him a unique and cool power, though.

I like Hellraiser. I'm a fan of Clive Barker's work.
But I'm worried that Pinhead is basically going to be Deathslinger + Pyramid Head. I really, really hope he's more interesting than that and also fun to play on console, but if it's a ranged chain attack plus a new kind of "punished" thing, that would almost certainly be disappointing.
