Noed existense force us to make totems
Like its doesnt matter if the killer doesnt have the perk, there is no way of knowing that, the perk's existense itself force us to break totems

That's the point. Why would survivors bother cleansing dull totems besides points?

So we can say killers have 5 perks

The killer still has 4 perks, you are just gambling on whether or not one of those perks is NOED.
But you know here's a crazy idea, you can always just cleanse NOED after the last gen was done. It's not like you have to cleanse all 5 dulls before the end of the game to stop NOED.

And DS makes killers leave people on the ground who might not have DS, BBQ makes survivors try and get in range or use lockers during a hook. Lots of perks do this, its fine.
8 -
That is how a lot of perks work. Not sure what the issue is?
When I play killer I have to assume a lot of things. BT? DS? Are they swf?
7 -
Let me my only reason to cleanse Dull Totem. If there is one near the generator I repair, I like to destroy it right after.

What does the pure existense of DH, DS UB, BT etc do? They all FORCE the killer to play differently, even if no one have it.

Because it's fun. Also sweet sweet points.

Many survivor perks (especially meta ones like BT, Unbreakable, DS) force killers to assume to the survivors have them even if they donโt. Both sides have to play assuming the other side is likely running popular meta perks. So whatโs your point

It's the same as killers having to respect DS and Dead Hard even if the surv doesn't have it.
4 -
Like killers have to assume every survivor has DS, DH and BT then?
7 -
And? DS and BT stop killers from tunneling because of their existance. Dead hard stops killers from lunging at a long distance. Unbreakable stops killers from slugging. Lots of perks do that.

x4 time ๐

And we can say the same abput survivor with DS, BT, power struggle, head on and other perk i forgot so we can say the same about survivor. You dont need any of those perk equip you can be sure a good killer will play around them

So, uhhh... Do totems. People always say only bad killers use NOED, so you should have plenty of time to do them
1 -
Same about dead hard and decisive strike so what is your point
1 -
That's the point.
Kind of like how Decisive strike exists, so you can't easily tunnel and need to assume every survivor might have it. Or when someone hook saves, you need to assume they have borrowed time.

That's part of the strategy and risk VS reward of gen rushing/prioritizing Gens over saving Survivors/cleansing totems, without it Survivors have little to worry about. You run the gambit of ending the game early, and give the Killer an edge with endgame Perks...which btw a Killer has to lose a Perk slot for the majority of the match, which can be nullified before it even gets a chance to activate, or have it disabled shortly after getting it.
Don't like running into it, bring a Map or a dedicated Totem Perk, or even Totem build with Inner Strength and a tracking Totem Perk.

Oh don't forget Unbreakable.
Lord help you if someone gets unhooked during EGC.
Can't hit them cos BT, so have to wait 12s.
Then you can't pick them up cos DS.
But you can't leave them either cos of UB.
3 permanent perks all survivors have as deterrents.
