What is the recommended connection for this game?
I ask because even though I always have the best ping or 2nd best ping in the game. Plus I always had survivors able to play pallets really tight against me back when the game was P2P. Ever since this hit validation stuff got implemented I notice zero positive change only negative.
As killer I've had hits taken from me. Yet as a survivor. Everyone is playing Demo right now. I see the same old BS of him lunging when I have already turned a corner and I still take the hit.
I don't get it.

I hate to say it, but your connection is probly better than the servers themselves. BHVR didn't really go all out for their servers.

Wi-Fi
actually no ethernet

It is possible (likely, in fact) that you live relatively far from where the closest bhvr's servers are hosted, and you got "closer" nods with p2p connection thanks to people playing around your place. Dedicated servers are more stable and reliable, but not necessarily faster (unless you live inside the server room, of course).
For reference, here's the list of dbd servers by location:
- Asia: Singapore
- Asia: Tokyo
- Australia: Sydney
- Europe: Frankfurt
- Europe: London
- South America: Sao Paulo
- North America: North Virginia
- North America: Oregon

ah yes, north virginia

I am 645 miles awayfrom Virginia state. I would say by internet standards that is very close. Although you say North Virginia so you can probably shave off maybe up to 100 miles on that total.
Is that really the list? The need more coverage badly. They need one in say Texas and Wisconsin or something

Meanwhile we still got exactly 0 servers in Russia :/
What's your ping usually, around 70 something or worse?
