Behaivor doesnt care about the state of the game
I love this game i have fun sometimes with this game but it becomes more and more difficult to enjoy it everyday and behavior doesnt care they are here for money and i understand that and they probably spend alot of time getting licenses and dealing with lawyers. which takes money time and effort and i think thats why they forget about the game.
i play on pc but im aware of all the issues like how DBD has been unplayable on consoles for a few weeks just recently how latency is a major problem on last gen console this stopped alot of the player base from enjoying the game and they didnt fix it for so long thats issue one
, issue 2 they introduce a ranked system with no alternative which i dont mind especially cause i like that but they keep the game so unballenced with perks SWF and general out of date killers good survivors beat good killers everyday of the week and i say this after constantly staying in red ranks if this was a casual game thats fine but why do they push competitive and abandon it,
myers is still bad, the playrate of many killers is super low and even on the other end of the spectrum nurse and spirit are of course the best killers in the game and they have major advantages which makes players that want to compete against swf or top of the top efficiently pick them.
my final issue is the piping system some killers struggle to pip while others collect alot more pips for example oni strong killer fun great addition to the game but because of the nature of the character its had to pip up on him and thats sad that players are punished to play him or struggle to rank up with him forcing them to play other characters they dont want to play.
The patch cycle is mostly centered around the monitisation of the game skins new characters ect to increase there revenue which is good but not enough effort is being put into the game as a whole and its sad to see. i wish there would be more concrete change to where the support the game in what ever image they want casual or competitive but they need to be consistent and make up there mind.

they care

Sorry, not going to even try reading that. But in response to the title, I believe the Devs absolutely care about the game, it’s just their hands are tied because they have bosses they answer too and those bosses have shareholders that they have to please.

is that better

I mean, most of the community dont care that the devs dont care, so why would they care in the first place?
Its the same as in other modern games, as long as the playerbase keeps playing and buying they have no reason to improve the game.

The devs do care..........about the money they can make.

Finally, the answer I'm waiting each time someone is like "tHeY dOn't CaRe".

Yes, thank you for fixing it. Honestly, I pretty much agree with all you said. I feel the devs have become quite ignorant as time has went on with the overall state of the game, bugs and broken releases etc...
They do love the game but they just definitely do not know how to make it to the best of its ability I feel.

The devs listen and care, trust me. I complain a lot, but they did hear my genuine complaint about a feature and they disabled the map for the better.

BHVR is incentivized by politics, corporate gains, and a bloated labor force. There is no improvement in development, the game has peaked.

Im not reading that crap. I rag on people a lot on this forum for being to lazy to read 4 sentence long paragraphs, but christ dude. Nobody wants to read a giant paragraph of straight up complaining.

Not true

What politics? That statement is so bizarre. And corporate gains with a bloated labor force? Shouldn't they fire some of the "excess" employees to maximize gains?

Dude this is a silly comment. DBD is their cash cow, trust they care how it is doing.
Perhaps they don't care so much about last gen consoles, and are looking towards the future, but the effort of SBM, new content, visual upgrades and , of course, paychecks make them care.

They care 'only' when it affects their pocket books. Which is why I don't see any major upgrades or changes for awhile, since they got a fat haul with the Resident Evil license. Just watch. The patch notes for Pinhead will have maybe a dozen small bug changes, and that'll be it.

I was put in forum jail for previously suggesting such an idea on the forums, and I was much more detailed. Please be careful; forum jail is...not very interesting, it's like regular jail but I still get to use my own personal bathroom and eat whatever food what I want.

I'm not suggesting they do that, I'm just saying your comment is contradictory.

I can acknowledge you may not agree, but it certainly not a contradiction. Having worked resource management most of my life, I can assure you, some companies have greed that knows no bounds. Entire labor forces can turn over, literally overnight. It varies from industry to industry although the industry specific minutia isn't really relevant.

Yup, the amount of perk changes in PTB shows it perfectly.
