Will the Demogorgon be fixed and patched after Nov. 17th if he happens to be bugged again sometime?
Maybe it's a dumb question, but once the Stranger Things chapter disappears on November 17th, will the Demogorgon keep being fixed if some bugs happen to him later down the line?
You know, maybe if some bugs return (like the unopened portals being able to be heard by survivors one, for example), or new bugs happen, will they still be addressed in later updates? Or is support for Stranger Things gonna end completely even in technical issues?
Same thing for Nancy and Steve, of course. Will they be fixed if certain bugs happen to them?

Bug wise yes but any changes like buffs or nerfs absolutely not.

Can we get a confirmation on this? I mean it's a very good point. If they intend to make any future adjustments on Demo then they may be required to do them right now....

I'm confident (but only like, mid-70% ish) that the contract only guaranteed the name, likeness, and lore. If they were to make any changes at all, what would be barred is the actual base kit and how it operates, not the actual numbers attached to it.

I'd imagine they have something in place that allows them to fix bugs.
0 -
Doubt it....why work on something that won't make them money going forward?

I'm pretty sure they will still maintain him, because he will still be playable in public matches.
Though he might be lower priority because there won't be many people playing him i imagine.

That's not how licensing works the license holders still reserve the right to confirm or deny changes and that's exactly what is happening with all licenses they can't make changes without Netflix's permission going forward.

When Demo isn't available anymore they should make him extremely overpowered for the lulz.

Show me the contract. 🤡

It's not even about knowing the contract Mcote has openly said it maybe instead of using Emoji's you can do your research that simple.
1 -
Do your own research next time before coming, disrespectful here you go now you look just like the emoji you keep using.
"Final word is always with the License Holders" This applies to anything involving their character, a simple google search, and you'd know this so instead of coming aggressive next time come level headed and not disrespectful because now you look bad.

This livestream does not say that the Demodoggo will be restricted to what Netflix has in mind for Dead by Daylight's balancing of the killer. Please link me to where Cote said the Demogrogon's balancing will be controlled by Netflix and discussed their contract with Netflix over the IP. I can't find it on Google, and that was what I was discussing earlier.

You didn't hear this man just discussing how licensing works for characters like Demogorgon, seriously, you come off like you want to argue over something you're clearly wrong about. This applies to all licenses. This includes the Netflix one again you seem you just want to argue over hearing the facts. So with that being said, I've presented my facts until you can disprove them, you've been proven wrong. Good day lad.

You didn't hear my question. I asked for where Netflix would be in control of his balancing. You're linking me to a general discussion of IP agreements that does not discuss Netflix being in control of Demogorgon's balancing within Dead by Daylight.
Please link me to where Cote stated (or Netflix stated) that Netflix would be in control of Demogorgon's balancing.

He just told you how it works; they have the final word over everything involving the IP; don't believe google how licensing works; again, you can't disprove what's been said. You're still beating a dead horse.

"They have the final word" is not identical to "Netflix has control over the balancing of The Demogorgon."
I guess he didn't say that Netflix is in control of the balancing of The Demogorgon, and so we don't have to worry about balancing changes in the future.
1 -
It is identical when the License Holders own the rights to anything involving the character now more than ever Behavior is limited to what they can do unless there is an agreement behind the scenes which we can't say there Is or Isn't at the moment as Behavior is busy being silent but you act as if Behavior was given full rights to the character which isn't at all how licensing works. You can license something it doesn't make any of the content your own and because of this Netflix is still allowed to decide how Demogorgon is in the game Dead by Daylight and with the License being dropped Behavior possibly doesn't have control over anything less than making sure he works in the game and isn't bugged as it's simple and he even said that in the video. Balancing is possible, If Netflix agrees to the changes, but any changes still have to be submitted to Netflix and approved again, google how licensing works.
While I understand It's frustrating It's fact hardcore facts and the nightmares of licensing content that isn't your own thats the exact point you don't own it Mcote explained it easily how it works if you can't grasp that I don't know what else to tell you other than do some reading and learning the law's around Licensing and Copyrighted Content It's very clear you lack the understanding in this area.

None of that paragraph explains how Netflix will control the Dead by Daylight balancing for Demogorgon. Just your opinion on how you think it will go.
Please show me the contract, or where somebody has stated that Netflix will control the balancing.
1 -
Dude at this point just google licensing you're either baiting a reaction or you actually are just dull to the reality of licensing and copyrighted content I am moving on as all you can say is the same thing 20 times with no actual valid points good luck to you and hope you educate yourself as knowledge is power.

License agreements are literally that. Nothing so far that you have typed, or linked, has explained that Netflix will have control over the actual DBD balancing. All you've shown me is an out of context snippet stating "license holders have final say."

This is a very important question. I'd love a small last kiss on him before he leaves, like his shred causing mangled or something.
1 -
I would think they'd be fine with bug fixes and balancing.

I'm pretty sure the license holders give a ######### about his shred activating 0.2 miliseconds faster or his portals cleansing time being 1 second longer. Contracts are different and can be very detailed but most of the time it only involves names and appearences, not actual ingame abilities. Using portals is probably not protected by the license holders. They probably don't have a clue about Dbd and how it works, so why should they make up their mind about small balance changes? All they care about is people making money with their stuff, and that's not possible anymore after this date, so...
1 -
@ me if you get an answer to this, want to know

If anything I'd just slightly increase some of the Add-Ons' values, Mangled would be too obnoxious, imo
But yeah, i'd just love clarification to this whole bug thing to stay more calm, lol

Yeah, Netflix doesn't care if you have 1 sec or 1.5 sec cooldown after shred attack.

It's not that simple. If something is OP or needs buffing, they might just do it for the sake of game balance. We've seen them do a lot of work on killers like Freddy that are licensed and make money, but also significant changes for killers that are basically ftp, like Doctor or Spirit.
