I'm so sick of blight
SBMM isn't even on and all i get is Blight. Blight with 2 slowdowns, tinkerer and blighted crow. Players that live and breathe Blight so they know exactly what they can bounce off and what they can slide off.
Oh boy i just spawned into a game and this ugly greek skinned freak is zooming towards me with lethal pursuer i'm sure going to have fun this game!
I pray for the day the add ons get nerfed. Or he gets the 110 treatment. I'm bored.

Actually, by the last statistics we got, I believe he was the 2nd or 3rd worst performing killer. Food for thought.

Quite bold to come with Statistics when usually those get despised. Come up with saying that every Killer has at least 60% Killrate and you get destroyed in this forum.
Also, Blight has had several Buffs since then.

The problem is not Blight. Blight in general is an enjoyable experience IMO, except when they are running Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer. In general, stacking multiple Slowdown-Perks is the easiest and most boring way to play Killer, you will have a miserable time against every Killer if they stack Slowdown that much.

He's not wrong. I think some of his Addons are problematic. But that always has been an issue in dbd. Someone with an strong base kit gets too powerfull addons. Nurse, Freddy, Spirit, Billy, Blight..
Some addon changes and that he can't slide on objects anymore and he'll be fine. Like Nurse. Nurse is fine, but her old addons were just over the top and that's what made her annoying and too strong..

Blight is fun to go against, but many just run Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer/BBQ and its one of the most boring things survivors can go against. Because its the same ######### every time

i know people enjoy blight, i just don't. Never have since his release, made worse with how many people currently play him with the dumb slowdown tinkerer build.
Multiple slowdown stacking is a whole different issue which will never get addressed because i've actively seen people on this forum defend a full 4 slowdown loadout to counter the mystical death squad swf and still lose with it. I'd love them to put a cap on slowdown stacking.

Speed add-ons should go. I thought devs took their lesson from billies add-ons. As well as his ability to hit around obstacles

Billy still has his speed add-ons though, and every single killer with some sort of dashing power has speed add-ons. I'm not sure how one would ever think they ever 'learned their lesson'.

He has overheat mechanic now. Speed add-ons are harder to use Pig and demo have not speed add-ons.

You do realize those statistics are considering all ranks AND were released only weeks after Blight was released, yknow, when killer mains were complaining Blight was weak and probably C-tier?

Slowdown stacking won't be addressed because it's clear from what they've said that they value player agency.
If they ever made some sort of competitive queue I can see them doing that, but as what the game is now, it will never happen.

When I say "dash", I mean sprint and I should have said that. That's my bad. The killers that have some sort of way of getting across the map quickly.
Billy, Wraith, Spirit, Bubba, Oni, and Blight all have speed add-ons. They never stopped giving killers speed add-ons.

yeah, its time to make Ruin a perk that simply doubles all regression(including missed skillchecks, regardless if its gens or healing) without actively regressing gens so that killers would need to kick gens for its double regression speed to get in effect(or use other perks that auto regress gens). Make it incompatible with Pop and make it easier for killers to kick gens(heck, maybe even just using M1 on a gen should put it in regression mode and explode the gen if there are survivors on it)
I think people dont realize how much stronger Ruin is today than it used to be. Automatic regression is one thing, double regression is another. I dont think automatic regression alone is worth being a hex totem, so I rather keep the double regression and expand on that.

I dont think his Add Ons are fine. At the very, very least, Alchemist Ring should go. This Add On is just nuts. I am also not a big fan of his Speed Add Ons, but I am not sure HOW problematic they are. But I dont think that there is any discussion needed that at least Alchemist Ring is too strong.
Yes, current Ruin is maybe even stronger than old Ruin. The thing about old Ruin was that it was free Slowdown, but you can do something against it as Survivor. I was not able to hit Skill Checks all the time, but most of the time. Now, with Ruin, if I get chased away from a Gen, it might happen that it goes from almost finished to 0.
I just think that adding Undying and buffing Tinkerer made it that way. In the combo Tinkerer is the most problematic Perk IMO, especially on high mobility Killers like Blight. Blight can be anywhere on the Map, he will be able to make it to the Gen before it is finished (assuming only one Survivor is on it).
When it comes to stacking Slowdown-Perks, they said they wanted to do something against it, making Ruin auto-regress Gens to not pair it with PGTW was one thing, but other than that, nothing happened since then. Maybe removing the Healing Penalty from Thana, but eh.

Blight isn't that hard to play, although he can be frustrating and lead to many mistakes even by those that play him often. The silver lining is that even if you suck with lethal rushes, you can still be on a survivor's backside in a flash. So obviously he's got overwhelming map pressure even if people suck at him.
But the real issue is slowdown stacking and addons. Stacking slowdown on this guy feels like you're facing the perks rather than the killer. It's boring, overused and gives people that aren't actually good as killer more ranks that end up skewing the matchmaking even more. Which then leads them to tunnelling/camping compulsively because they realize without help they can't get as many wins.
His addons are also disgusting. Alchemist ring and blight crow are extremely common and just make me want to die. But yeah I can see why people dislike Blight. He's giving off Freddy/Spirit vibes with how easily he stomps solo games these days. Actually, I feel like the new awful duo is Wraith/Blight. Easiest killers to 4k all the time with.

Blight is like the opposite of boring. I have no idea what half of you are talking about. Fun must be just facing bad killers that require no extra thought or skill on the survivor side. I wish I faced more Blights. Yeah most of them run the pinnacle Blight build but thats not really a big deal when I run 4 good perks as survivor every game. You get Ruin and Undying and its pretty much gg with 1 or 2 good chases against him. As a Blight main, I understand what hits he can hit and cant. Thats the first part of countering him, play him yourself. Blight is probably the most skillful killer you can play, at a high level that is.

Bumping multiple times into a wall is a waste of rush tokens,even with speed addons.
If a Blight is doing that then he's either trying to snipe someone in the distance or tries to hit around a loop which can be avoided by not hugging the loop too tight

Blight is the fastest killer of them all. And speed add-ons are just too opressive on him

Blight has to do 2 rushes before he can attack you. You have plenty of time to know what he's trying to do. Blight counters a lot of auto pilot strategies survivors employ. Against a good Blight I'm sorry but you're gonna have to actually pay attention.

As a Blight Main since his release up until very recently in favor of Demodoggo's soon-to-be departure, I can say that since day 1, BBQ has been a staple of his kit for me.
Blight specializes in getting from A to B, so if you give him a target, he can capitalize on that in spades.

Me too, it is either Huntress with uncounterable hatchets or Blight loaded with gen stopper perks. And nothing is being done about it. We need new devs.

i mean yes he is extremely unfun to go against because they always un the same perks that makes the game last forever, or maybe impossible to progress except for him.... however the only thing that i would nerf of him are the stupid big hitbox he has, then i would nerf his compound 33 and ring, maybe the green speed addon aswell, he is ndeed unfun to go agaisnt.

He requires a lot of skill and is difficult to play. If anything he should be buffed by fixing the stupid sliding players have to deal with. You play a game with Blight and see how easy it is when you slide off your 4th tree in a row.
Honestly if a Killer isn’t stronger than Nurse, they are fine.
